I feel so, so sad for Abi. Her little Alfie is so beautiful and angelic, and I’m not one of those women who says that about any baby. Inevitably, it’s nurture, not nature, that has the final say, of course. Let’s hope this little bundle doesn’t pick up on the fight for his custody.

I desperately want her to win him back. Hasn’t she lost enough? 🤔💐🥲

What a terrible time Sally’s Abi has had of late in Coronation Street. First she loses her beloved son, then Kevin leaves her for resorting to drugs and drink. Now she’s had a premature child, panics, and walks out of the hospital, making the front page of the local paper.

Too much for one woman to take. Thank Heavens that this is a fictitious Soap.

Though that much younger than Sally's Abi Franklin, Nina was wise beyond Abi's years, (!) advising her to KEEP AWAY FROM A LIT FIREWORK. It went off after a couple of minutes - and was well worth the wait! 🎊🎉

Sally's performance as bereaved mother Abi has been outstanding. I've decided I'll be voting for her in the next Soap Awards, with Mollie Gallagher coming a close second.

5ft4. She's taken on a young hooligan NINE INCHES taller than her (her son's killer) and has reduced him to a weeping, quivering wreck. At least he's shown what he's REALLY made of! 😝

Unbelievable and outrageous that her son's killer (in 'Coronation Street', of course) walks out of Court having been found innocent of the murder of Seb Franklin. It makes me sick! Surely the writers of the soap opera are going to have to do something about this.

The backlash of Deirdre Rachid ending up in prison for fraud related crimes in the same programme over 20 years back was NOTHING in comparison to this.

After much fiddling and faffing around, I've actually found a height for the teenager who plays Asha Alahan, Tanisha Gorey. Tanisha plays a 16-year-old but is, in fact, turning 19 next month, so is almost DEFINITELY fully grown. I'd personally have believed Tanisha looked young enough to be 16, possibly 17, as she has a young face.

I read that she measures in at 5ft4, so she should stand neck-and-neck with Sally Carman's Abi and 2" taller than Ruxandra's character, Alina, and Sally Dynevor's character, also called Sally. The difference between Tanisha and Mollie Gallagher's heights does indeed stand out, but you wouldn't have to twist my arm for too long before I'd cave in and admit the possibility of Tanisha measuring 5ft3.5 or so. Yup, the 5ft4 could indeed be her morning height.

In time, a page for Tanisha would be very welcome, especially as she's played the part of Asha since December 2009, so we've literally watched her grow up from a tiny 7-year-old, which I always feel is quite a privilege for Soap fans! 😄 The boy who plays her 'twin' brother, Aadi, has just been replaced, and looks far younger than nearly 19.

What a terrible storyline in tonight's Coronation Street. Sally's Abi's young son, Seb, who is only about 5ft5, is badly beaten up by a group of thugs, as was his 5ft1 girlfriend. Both youngsters lie critically ill in hospital.

At times such as these, one can't help but thank God that it's only a Soap, but having watched the news tonight, there's been yet another fatal knife crime.

What is happening to this world of ours? 😢

Sally Carman and Sally Dynevor did a stretch together in prison, they're living in the same house now and Sally C has just had her hair cut into the same style as Sally D!

The way that Abi looked after Sally in prison was admirable! Now that Sally's been released, the two have just bumped into each other, and after a reunion hug, you could definitely notice the 2+" height difference.

Abi, or Sally Carman, gets 5ft4.

Yes, Lee, I have noticed that Sally's Abi wears trainers and, as such, I have found it easier than ever to believe that she's 5ft4 instead of the 5ft3 I once thought she was.

That scene last week when she pinned Tracy (5ft6 Kate Ford) up against the wall showed a lot!

Looks 2 inches shorter than the actor who plays her son seb who is listed five foot five and 3 inches shorter than Alan halsall who plays tyrone my guess is five three

@ Sandy Cowell - Look who's here! It's nice to see that this interesting and funny actress has been given a page along with an accurate listing! I have got to admit I did once think that she was roughly an inch taller but having seen her recently compared to other members of the "Coronation Street" cast (autocorrect tried to change it to candy!) I think that she is close to 5'4"!

My boyfriend came in the other day while I was watching 'Coronation Street' and said, "I know 'er! She was in 'Shameless'!"

Then I realised that she was considerably more famous than just for 'Coronation Street', and come to think, she did seem familiar to me as well, AND I had seen some unforgettable episodes of 'Shameless' with my boyfriend and they're well worth investing in in the future. The programme boasts an excellent cast, for sure, and it's gritty and very witty!

I've noticed that Sally is a noticeable chunk shorter than the actress who plays Tracy Barlow, Kate Ford, and she must be around 5ft7. I did think Sally was 5ft3, or should I say, I saw it written down and believed it, but as she has 5ft4 on her Spotlight page and Rob agrees, then I will go for that! 😊👍
