I'm sure I saw her listed as 5ft 6in a few years ago but then I saw her in ads with 5ft 7in Rob Brydon and realised she couldn't be. I'm starting to suspect that 5ft 6in is the height that a lot women are reported at if the journalist or whoever isn't sure, since a lot of women do seem to be erroneously listed at that height!

@ Sandy Cowell - That is most definitely so, I agree that Ruth is very clever and she is a great actress as well! She had to have a page on celebheights and now she has! I agree that this listing is fine for her!

@ Nik - Yes, it certainly is! I spoke about her to Jim yesterday and he said, "Yes, she's a clever woman", when I added to his mentioning that she was in 'Gavin and Stacey' - that she actually co-wrote it!

Love her haha, she's so local!!! She speaks exactly the same in Gavin and Stacy and has the rough demeanour of so many women I come across!! If you really look at her in real life though she's actually a pretty woman and doesn't dress chavvy at all.

Nice one Rob! I really think Ruth deserves to be here!

I watched her in the third and final series of 'The Street', wherein she plays an important role in the last episode - that of a lonely woman hell-bent on seducing Timothy Spall! She succeeds, Tim playing a really nice guy who doesn't like to hurt anybody's feelings. The chaos that ensues is unbelievable - and very sad.

Ruthie gets a top-class 5ft4 and a big welcome to Celebheights!
