Looks the same to me as before which is 6'1. He might seem shorter if he is around men 6"3" and over. Both men and women are seeming to get taller these days.

In "Shogun" (1980), Chamberlain looks about 1.5 inches taller than John Rhys-Davies. Regardless, he looks longer in the arms, legs and trunk than any 6'1" guy I've ever seen on screen. *shrug*

Chamberlain was a legit 6'1" in his prime. His co star on "Dr Kildare", Raymond Massey, had been that height in his movie career.

In his prime he looked more like 6'2. But he could've been 6'1 as well.

Whatever his age and height, for over 40 years, Richard Chamberlain has made my heart skip a beat. He's the most gorgeous man I've ever seen. He's got class and talent and kindness.
