As to his height, the 182 cm listing on Google seems way too low, at least for his peak. I remember in Oz he looked quite tall and lean, I thought he was well over 6'1". Looked closer to 182-183 cm range in his later years, though, but as to his peak I can't buy anything lower than the current listing. I think I once saw a whopping 6'3" listing for him on one site.

182 may be too low. Key is what was Samuel L Jackson in 2003 when SWAT was filmed? They could look about an inch apart in height maybe 1.5”. Possible Jackson was still 6’1.5 back then and that Cathey is 6’0” even or 6’0.25

Editor RobI think Reg was a man by his late 50's who had lost some height...at times he seemed under six feet, although maybe his posture contributed to that.

Great actor and way younger than I thought. He looked maybe a tad taller than this on The Wire with Aiden Gillan, with whom he had almost all his scenes. I think he could look shorter with the Oz cast but Cathey could slouch a lot.
