Yeah he was tall, Jim looked almost as tall as him because Ray didn't usually wear heeled boots, while Robby and Jim did

he played basketball in chicago,but only wanted to play forward or center. when he stopped growing he gave up, glad he did cause the doors would have never existed.
Not necessarily, he could have ended up like the Joey Ramone of the 60’s...big lanky guitarist. I originally thought he was at least 6ft3 and Morrison was 6ft

This is accurate, Jim's is not. There is no way they had 1.5 inches between them. Jim was 5'9, Ray is 6'.5

Ray is 6 ft 0.5 Jim was no 5'11". Jim Morrison was 5 ft 9.5 without his cowboy boots on. Jim was 3 inches shorter than Ray. I have tons of Photographic proof to back it up.

I always assumed he was taller, but I think that was because Krieger and Densmore are smaller. he comes across as a very warm and honest human being..

Ray at last!!! There were a big discussion in jim's height about Ray's height. He Looks as he said, at least 6-0, and max. 6-1, 6-3 on his boots.
