I'm not so sure on giving 1/4 inch peak/current, but when it gets to half inch I usually

I doubt that he’s an inch shorter than Wlad. Wlad is not 6’6” he’s 6’5” range as he admitted. Ralf May be slightly taller (1/4-1/2” tops) or up to 1/4” shorter. Wouldn’t surprise me if the two are almost identical in height

Not taking anything away from Ralf since he clearly put in a tremendous amount of work and it's very difficult to have a physique like his at 6'4", much less over 6'5". I think we can say he was likely right around 197 peak and isn't more than 196 cm today. Although, he didn't look taller than 196 back in 2003 in that gym video with 193 cm Dolph: Click Here Click Here Click Here Would Ralf have lost anything by 2003? It'd be fairly likely for a 44 year old 6'5"+ bodybuilder, but considering Dolph is over a year older and appeared to have lost no more than a tiny fraction by that point, if that yet has since lost a massive amount of height while Ralf has maintained his height unusually well for a now 60 year old bodybuilder or even any 6'5"+ man, I'd guess Ralf was still at his peak in 2003. I wish that back to back pic of Ralf and Lou Ferrigno had been taken on solid ground because I'd love to see the difference between them even back in the 90's.

But aside from guessing 197 peak and 196 current, I'd also say the range for Ralf's peak height would have to be 196 cm minimum and 197 max.

Does Ralf have an even bigger head than Dolph? Interestingly, here's a 2003 video of them in the gym that I posted a while back on Dolph's page: Click Here There's a timestamp, but Ralf first appears around 1:12, 3:05 should be of interest and they stand together for about 40 seconds from 4:45 on. I guess Dolph must have still been 193 cm in 2003, but I'd have guessed Ralf more 2-3 cm taller in that video rather than 4. Granted, I tend to guess Ralf about 197 cm peak and 196 today, but I suppose he could have been 196 in '03.

The worst I could buy is 6’5 3/8 at his low on the day which may be strong 6’5 but that’s worst case. An easy 6’6” out of bed. Yeah I do believe Ralf is honest about his 197 cm. He does look huge in the Gladiator, and even beside a guy like a Dolph Lundgren he stills looks big. So if Ralf is 197 cm he is about the same heights as Chuck Connors and close to Anthony Joshua and Clint Walker

In my view, Ralf is a humble giant because his claim being 197 cm is true thus he is a genuine colossus. However, fans can't measure tall actors with a ruler at any given time or day so everything is just perspective or opinion so his height can be exaggerated between 6'6 - 6'8 with shoes easily from an average height guy.

I think that's what he's been measured at currently, unlike Arnie hasn't lost much. It's obvious he got measured at 197 when bodybuilding, that would have been barefoot. Out of bed peak this guy could have hit 199cm. In the 90s he could look an easy 6'6. Had to have been 197.

If Ralph is only 6'5" that is strong evidence that a lot of actors he has worked with are much shorter than claimed because Ralph towers over just about everyone he has ever been on screen with.

in my opinion moeller is the biggest 6'5 claim actor, most 6'5 claimer are rounded up or add on shoe at 6'3.5-6'4.5 range and very few were 6'4.75 unlike moeller he looks a big 6'5(195.58), estimate he can be through from noon night at 195.5-196.2cm. min flat 6'5 and 197cm granted in morning.

Moeller is 6' 5.5" tall, I say this because he stood next to a very popular German politician, Zu Guttenberg, who stands 6 feet tall flat, and it looks like Moeller was about 5.5 inches taller than Zu Guttenberg. Zu Guttenberg was photographed with Arnold Schwarzenegger, who claims he was 6'2", but was probably 6'1" peak and now in his old age is 6 feet flat.

Moeller was on Gladiator DVD extras stating he is 6'6" which threw me a little as a body builder will always know what measurements they are. Lou has always been posted as 6'5" and Ralph is a lot taller. He was always shown out as 6'10" there is a famous picture of a few of the 'faces' from Golds gym on the rear fire escape and he is level heads with Lou even though Lou is standing on the next step up. Arnold is 6'1" all day see the height difference between him and Dwayne Johnson in Welcome to the Jungle.
Moeller's height is also highlighted again with Dolph Lundgren as the 6'6" yard stick when they are in Universal Soldier. Tech checks their cameras and looks into Dolphs lens in the line up and then has to stretch to see into Ralphs. he even comments ' I need a ladder for this one.' and when Jean Claude appears ' yeah more my size'

I changed my mind about Moeller's height. Rob, why don't you give Moeller 6'5"? His height is written as 196cm (6'5") on his official website and even if he claimed 197cm, he looks no more than 6'5". Dolph Lundgren also claimed 6'5.5" but does not look that tall.

Funny thing Moeller recently appeard in a German film called Far Cry with Craig Fairbrass (6'3"), remember the British baddie in Cliffhanger who emulated taking football kicks at the end of the film? I've always thought these two men look very similar, facially and in terms of stature.

Veltins, you are wrong because Moeller has several inches on Dolph Lundgren who is clearly above 6'3". Arnold can only be over 6'0" if he already got measured 6'1.5", so taht would make Moeller a strong 6'5". I only have the feeling that Klitschko is at least an inch above 6'6" because he doesn't look really shorter than his brother Vitali who is already at 6'8" on most of his websites. So I think that 6'5.5" for Moeller could be correct while Wladimir Klitschko could be a strong 6'7" and Vitali a strong 6'8".

Good find Rony, the picture of him with Boris Becker who is a legit 190cm barefoot makes the 6'7" claims look ridiculous. Compared to Becker he is struggling with 195cm let alone 198cm. I see about a two inch height difference if we cut out Becker's bouffon. 6'5.5" is about right, I agree probably 6'5" by evening. The strange thing is how he looks a lot taller than Dolph Lundgren and how he dwarfs Arnie today by what looks like minimum 6 inches.

Very surprised to see that Moeller is a smoker. I know these action stars like to smoke cigars every now and again but Moeller is a regular cigarette smoker. Well, Moeller had 2 inches on Dolph Lundgren who claimed his height as 6'5" and that's a little bit confusing. The pic with 6'3" or 190cm Boris Becker proofed that Moeller has exactly 2.5 inches on Becker. So that would bring Moeller at 6'5.5" as he claimed. Sometimes he appears really gigantic but even 6'6" is out of question because Moeller is a strong 6'5" guy.

A legit 6'5.5" barefoot will pull off 6'7" in good boots. This guy is gigantic and Dolph even says so!!, makes even Lundgren look smaller than he is. Moeller is the mother of all action stars in terms of enormous size, just when you thought Lundgren was about as huge as it gets, they have to go bigger!! I trained at worlds gym for 2 weeks in November 1991, Moeller was 6'6" minimum, more like 6'7". Arnold was at least 1 inch shorter than me (I;m 6'2) and Thornson was around 6'4".

Moeller had 3 inches on Clint Eastwood in the mid 1990s. Clint was nearer 6'3" by this time although I heard reports by Glenn saying he was still 6'4" in the early 90s, he sure looked it to me in Unforgiven. This would place Moeller at least 6'6" a possible near 6'7". I agree he often looks nearer 6'7" to me he is HUGE can't see 6'8" but he looks nearer 199cm to me a lot of time.

The german websites say that Moeller is almost 2 metres. That means he's clearly over 6'5", but a full 6'6" is the question? I'd say 197cm (6'5 1/2") is not downgraded but I would also agree with 6'6" as Moeller's height. Maybe 6'6 1/2" straight out of bed too.

There are also a few people who can't bear their heights so they are downgrading their heights. I know someone who has been over 2 metres tall and he described his height as 6'5". Unbelievable, many tall people are complexors about their height. So I guess, Ralf is one of these who are downgrading their heights. Ralf is 6'7" in my opinion.

Moeller is mostly described as 6'6" on the english websites and 197cm on the german websites. 197cm is rounded 6'6". But 6'5 1/2" can also be seen as 197cm but 6'5 1/2" is exactly 196,8cm. So if Ralf claimed his height 197cm then he is a few mm over it. So 6'5 3/4" is Moeller's real height nowadays. When he was younger, he could have been over 6'6" as mentioned.

I remember back in 1992 when Universal Soiler was made Dolph L joked he wasnt happy that Ralph was taller than him. Dolph was 6foot 5 then and when you watch the entire movie there is a 2inch diference.That puts Ralph at 6foot 7,the concensus in the bodybuilding mags was 6foot 8 and i believe he was not that far off it.

Mark, it was a natural ability, the way a fast person would train to run even faster. I was always much stonger that my classmates as a child. In high school it helped my poplularity when people saw me doing strength moves like carrying 2 girls at once, or lifting my 260 lbs motorcyle completely off the ground.

Danimal, your grandparents sound just like my grandparents. They would also do the V/W pronounciation. These days many people are able to attend University and some of the Professors are american and english. It helps minimize any accent, etc. In addition, I travel a great deal and this has also helped.

I was 17 once, so I can relate. My big thing was lifting my Father, who is about 330lbs, just to show off I had the power.

Thanks for the advice. I did say don't carry me. In fact, on ocassions I would beg. But sometime a 17 year-old doesn't think that way. I'm not real physical which may be a problem, so taking on the big guy can be a challenge. I once thought of turning the tables and I tried to lift this big guy, and when I failed, he just grabbed me and threw over his shoulder.

Danimal, I am fluent in both languages, as are many German people who have gone to University . I have no reason not to be honest, have I given you cause to think otherwise ? If my comments have offended you I apologize and will stop posting. Dolph Lundgren, another big fellow, holds a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. It is a common misconception/stereotype that a very big person is not intelligent.

Max, I have to say that for someone who is German, such as yourself (as as my grandparents), your English seems to be perfect. Almost too perfect. You make absolutely NO grammar/spelling/punctuation mistakes at all. I hope you're being honest with us about your identity and your claims.

Mark, I can relate, I hit 6'5.5" at over 250lbs while I was still in high school.
How to stop this, as I said before I only do it if the person is game. My friends are also the same. Just say No, I prefer not to be carried.

Glad I wasn't near the pool. But like I said...being smaller you get used to getting picked on no matter how old you are. Yesterday, my nephew who's still in high school came to the home for a holiday visit. He's athletic, about 6'3 225lbs and he was like 'Hey uncle Mark', and next thing you know I got a fireman's carry down the stairs into the den. It can be embarassing, but like I said, I have to live with it. Any advice how I can stop this? Advice that is from a big guy.

Mark, my friend who is about an inch taller than me, and similar build, has a cousin who was your size when he was 11. One time he asked to be tossed for distance into the pool and the game was on. His 6'10" brother won with the best distance.
