In this 1993 article , Penelope states that she was surprised to be cast as Vita Sackville-West in the play "Vita" since the real one was much taller than her . The third paragraph of the article also mentions her co-star Eileen Atkins being taller than her .
Now this guardian article about Eileen brings up as story where she gave her height as 5'7" at age 18 ( paragraph 33 ) .
I think Penelope is more likely 5'6" .
Rob , can Eileen be added at her 5'7" claim ? She's the kind of actress who deserves to be added .
