Paula’s Elaine has found her ‘friend’, Stephen, having terrible drug-induced visions of the people he’s killed, and it serves him right.

LSD used to be subscribed in psychiatric institutions, but I think it’s acting as a truth drug with Stephen, his horrendous past flashing before his eyes, and he’s told Elaine that he’s not a good person. It’s still worrying to see Elaine in the same room as the psychotic Stephen, as there’s no telling where this trip will take him……

I watched an episode of Man About The House this morning and Paula’s Chrissie got married to Richard O’Sullivan’s character, Robin’s taller brother.

⭐️ The cake got smashed, so Robin assembled a makeshift new one, which looked awful and the figurine of the groom’s head was missing!

⭐️ During the wedding ceremony, the registrar paused to blow his nose👃, the noise sounding exactly like a fart!

⭐️ With a start like this, it would seem this marriage is doomed to failure!

That was rather funny last night, with a red-kneed furry pet tarantula spider, Larry, 😂🕷️ being let loose in the Indian restaurant where Elaine earns her Street living! 🤭

Just before today's 'Coronation Street' omnibus, they've decided to show us a couple of old 'Man About The House' episodes, a sitcom which was on when I was a kid. It's still quite funny, the flat-sharing trio today encountering money problems.

How short was Richard O'Sullivan? He makes Brian Murphy look quite tall! Still, the guy was a good-looking heart throb in his day, with plenty of girls in my class fancying him, which goes to show you don't need to be tall to cut the mustard! Paula and Sally were never out of wedged or platform shoes, and as they wore flared trousers those days, it isn't easy to judge the shoe heel size.

I was immediately struck by Paula's beautiful alibaster skin, which goes a long way towards explaining why she still looks so good today. With her footwear, she's almost as tall as Richard.

I'm so pleased that Paula's character is back in Coronation Street.

I do hope the little lady gets back on her feet again soon and her horrid ex-husband, Geoff, goes to prison.

⭐ It might be worth mentioning that Sally Thomsett was given the part of an 11-year-old when she was all of TWENTY. That was because of her tiny height. Sally was older than Jenny Agutter, who, because she was tall, played the elder girl in 'The Railway Children'.

🥀 Sally Thomsett, who starred in 'Man About the House' with Paula and also in 'The Railway Children' and the original 'Straw Dogs' must be truly tiny because Paula always looked quite tall next to Sally! 🥀

Great to see her returning to our TV screens in 'Coronation Street' AND getting a page on Celebheights!

I can't see Geoff having had the nerve to kill her off. When I saw an actress as famous as she is arriving on The Cobbles, I thought, "She's here to stay!"

Noticeably taller than Sally, I'd like to give her 5ft3. Before I was convinced about my height loss, I used to think my physiotherapist was quite tallish, and so I asked her. When she said, "5ft3!" I said "... but I thought I was that!" 🤔

She said, "No! You're smaller!" 😡
