This guy was a solid 6ft2 at the very least...taller than 6ft1 range men

Sarrazin was about the same height with 6'1" Tony Franciosa. They did amovie with Jackie Bisset called The sweet ride, they are all the time on screen together,Sarazzin at most may have been half an inch talletr than Franciosa. There is in no way any obvious height difference.THeres a scene at a police station where they stand face to face and Franciosa is holding Sarrazin they look practicaly identical in height.I ll go for 6'1.5".Theres no way he was any taller.

In some scenes in Caravans Sarrazin reminded me a lot of Richard Madely with his hair style and colour in the film and very similar height and build. He naturally had sandy hair I think, obviously dyed it black or brown a lot in earlier films.

Rampage, in Caravans Sarrazin had an easy inch on Anthony Quinn, made him look 6'1 flat. OK Quinn was 62 at the time, and might have lost a little but Sarrazin could certianly look 190 at times.

Around 6ft3 was what I thought...close enough I guess. I'm still not sure on Coburn. He could really go looking from 6ft1 up to near 6ft3 himself

I caught a bit of Caravans and this looks spot on with Christopher Lee, a little over 2 inches. Lee's range was 6'4.5-75 I think, this guy a strong 6'2, 6'3 out of bed sort of guy fits.

Rob can you add In Search of Gregory, The Pursuit of Happiness and The Loves and Times of Scaramouche. Obviously in the first two I was paying more attention to Julie Christie and Barbara Hershey :-) Not seen Scaramouche yet, but on my to see list because Ursula was in it!

Editor Rob: I did have a bit of a look, I couldn't quite see 6ft 3, but a strong 6ft 2 is entirely possible...
There's a few scenes in several of the films where certain camera angles and shoes/posture can really make him look easily 6'3, like when he was walking on that deck I showed you. He looked shorter in the Sweet Ride than I remembered in previous films. I think I first saw him in They Shoot Horses and he had 2 inches on Bruce Dern. Dern could often look a full 6'1, but I think 6'0.5 is the best shout. Sarrazin at 189 makes the most sense and pretty much shows that Coburn couldn't have been a full 6'2. Sarrazin at 189 and Coburn at 187 is believable.

He had about 1.5 inches on Walter Pidgeon I think. But Pidgeon was mid 70s at the time so quite reasonably lost that from his peak. Peak they'd have been very similar I think.

Thanks Rob. Yes, 189cm seems a good shout. Initially I'd thought he could look 6'3, he can look it at times, but seeing him barefoot in Sweet Ride, he didn't look quite as tall as I thought and more 189. I think he might have worn a decent shoe at times which made him look taller. He could look a legit 190 a lot, he had about an inch on Coburn I thought. As Bisset's father once said "Don't marry him, he looks moody". He did have an element of the Klaus Kinski in him, I wouldn't want to wind him up, put it that way.
