Matt is just a touch shorter than brother, Luke.
5ft11.25.

5’11, his massive head makes him look even shorter

What’s with all these 5’11 guys claiming 6ft2?
Incognito324 said on 18/Apr/21
Hard to say, these guys are serious with big ego, or just joking
Editor Rob
he did claim 6ft 2 three years after the first quote, so he is consistant.
OriginalAnon said on 29/Dec/20
5'11'' is a possibility but I could see him being slightly under. His 6'2'' claim maybe was a joke!
TheBat said on 7/Dec/20
@Chris Junior Hernandez
The thing is though is that Luke Goss isn’t 6’0” at all, he’s 5’11.25”-5’11.5” next to both 5’9” peak Wesley Snipes and his brother Matt which means Matt is 5’10.75”-5’11”.
Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 23/Oct/20
5'10 3/4-5'11 guessing is silly. Luke Goss look at most 1/2 on Matt. Matt is legit 5'11 1/2.
Arch Stanton said on 22/Jul/20
Is he really 185 lb too? I would have thought nearer 165-170.
Editor Rob
Maybe at heaviest he is, but I' sure for periods of his career he's been 160-175 range.
Nik said on 8/Dec/19
His 6'2" claim is outstanding! 👌😇!
TheBat said on 21/Nov/19
A 5'10.75" guy claiming 6'2" is just idiotic. He's always scraping 5'11"

They look Identical in their pics together and I think His Brother Luke is a Legit/Solid 6ft but at the same time,
I do believe Luke is still taller than Matt. How Much is the Question?
What’s your thought on this Rob?
Editor Rob
A chance they could be half inch apart.
Beej said on 6/Jan/17
Without doubt he is easily no shorter than 6'1. Met him in real life and bigger than i thought (5'10 ish).

Seems a little high Compared to how him and his brother came across on the Jonathan Ross show with Russell brand
Rhonda said on 15/Oct/16
This must be about right, he is smaller than Russell Brand on Jonathan Ross show and Matt had a heel.
John said on 23/Aug/16
I bet my bottom dollar that Matt would refuse to claim his "six-two" height if he was being interviewed by Ryan Reynolds or John Cusack.

He has the head of a 6ft2 guy...look at the size of that thing!

Im 6-2.5,but I say 6-2". I guess wanna be taller guys lie. That simple.
Tunman said on 20/Dec/15
@Panda
Yeah, basically anything less than 1/2" is quite honest, for example a person at 5'11.5 may just not bother and say 6'.In fact even if the person is 5'11.25 (maybe a good example would be Dicaprio) it's still fair to say 6',after all it's possible that the person hits the mark at a certain moment of the day, early in the morning probably
@Big C
a 5'7 claiming 5'10?clearly the persons to whom he tells that don't give a care.I mean any person paying attention would answer:"5'10? yeah, and the earth is square".Seriously though, let's hope that the lie stops at the level of height. It's quite understandable that everyone wants to present himself on positive terms, but nothing should be exagerated imo. Some persons may think 3"boosting?what ego it takes to do that!the person wants to show him/herself as important...and some things that way
movieguy said on 20/Dec/15
Difficult to tell from that photo, has anybody seen him person? I mean his 6'2'' claim seems ridiculous but perhaps he is a bit taller than people think. Wouldn't rule out Matt being about 6ft. Years ago Bros were on Wogan and I seem to recall the twins being similar in height to Terry Wogan who was supposedly about 6ft himself.
Tunman said on 19/Dec/15
G seems to have created a big club of boosters.Imagine if Rob was allowed to be present on interviews or shows.Once the person claims a height,Rob would immediately come with his stadiometer and say "let's check if you're genuinely this height, please remove your shoes" I think it would be a funny part of the show,a remake of the Big Grapple.
Tunman said on 19/Dec/15
Really sam? With a 3-4" difference a person gets totally different descriptions.Take for example a 5'9 person, that's average. Now claiming 6'0 or 6'1?You don't even need to check to know that the person is not a tall person, but only average.Anyways in person I knew some crazy boosters:a 174 range guy claiming 180(or very close to it in his own words),another 174-5 also claiming 180,a 169-70 claiming 175 and a 152-3 girl claiming 158.Still these persons are able to lie since many are doing so but no honest person can be fooled.I mean at nearly 177 I know that a person isn't 180 if I'm looking down or that a person being at least a full head shorter than me can't be 158.Not to add that the frame is just too much different.
Big C said on 19/Dec/15
@Tunman my dad is around or near 5ft 7 and he claims 5ft 10, I know it's ridiculous.

Boosting by 3"?I just wonder how these people can make it,really.just imagine the situation when speaking with a honest 6'1 for example.
Here is my opinion about boosting:
by 1/8" or less:no boosting, even better to not mention the fraction
by 1/4:little rounding up,still fair and hardly visible
by 1/2:that's rounding up you generally manage to get away with the claim though some honest guys may raise an eyebrow
by 3/4:some honest people will guess you're boosting, others not, better add in the morning
by 1":the limit of boosting in my opinion, either you rely on perfect posture and high eyelevel or lifts
by 1.25":you get generally busted with honest people, except some rare cases like maybe with a not so obvious hair advantage
by 1.5" and more:at this point you're expecting the other person to be lying as well, basically you would be at the hair level of a person at the mark you claimed
@Tunman to be honest if a person rounds up a 1/2 inch and they are in between inches (like 6'1.5", claiming 6'2"), hell even boosting a 1/4 inch if they are close to a certain height (ex. 6'1.75", claiming 6'2") I would still say they are being honest. No need to give a person crap for a less or equal to 1/2" boost if they are in between heights or close to a upper range.
If a person is a 1/4 inch or less over a certain height they ought to round down, no boosting, imo (ex. 6'1.25", claim 6'1").
I do agree, however, that more than 1/2 inch boosting is basically lying.
Sam said on 18/Dec/15
From first hand experience I've known a few people exaggerate from 3-4 inches, so while his claim is outlandish there's more people doing the same thing.

To be fair, he claimed that **** on Twitter. He could just go like ''Hey, why do they even care how tall I am, I'll just exaggerate for fun.''
I don't think he would claim 6'2 in an interview face to face with another person

Luke Goss is listed 6ft1 in his official site. Elsewhere he is usually listed 6ft. Luke looks 1-1.5 inches taller than Matt. I think this is rather accurate.

Arch Stanton said on 16/Dec/15
Thanks. I thought weak 5 ft 11 yeah, I guessed 5'10.5 with his brother and Statham but he can certainly look the full 5'11 with a lot of the celebs I've seen him with. I think though he's the type to wear bigger shoes on occasion. Both Goss brothers are surprisingly above average but for some reason give a shorter impression, with that balding jack the lad look about them. I'd have thought they were like 5'8 or 5'9 without looking. Matt's had a fair bit of cosmetic work done I think, he can afford it now being a resident performer in Vegas!

Wow. Genuine 3 inch inflators like Justin Beiber and Trent Reznor are rare. Looks like we can add this guy to the club.
Rob, I'd love to see a page made for 3 inch inflators, 2 inch inflators, and so on.
Sorry I'm always suggesting so many ideas, Rob. I can't help it. I'm an ENTP!!!

I dont get why so many guys add an extra 3 inches to their height. Does he really think he can fool people into believing he is 6'2 when he does not even look 5'11. He looks 5'7 to me.
