I personally know Marti’s childhood friend, he says Marti is 5’11”- 6’ even. He says that Marti’s Brother was 6’6”...so there is some height in that family. Marti’s build may make him seem a bit shorter than that as he has a long neck, and is longer in the torso rather than having longer legs. He is a gorgeous man with a great body. Also, next to band members Graeme Clark & Tommy both 6’1” Marti is only about an inch shorter.

That Nigel Havers guy looked quite short I thought in Coronation Street. But I think Audrey (Gail Platt's mother) is tall herself. Any idea how tall she is? She towered over that Norris bloke I think. I'd guess she was 5'10"-5'11 range.

My bad. Ginger Chris Evans, not Superhero Chris Evans is listed at 6'2 not 6'0!! Giner Chris Evans I think might be near 6 ft 1 as he had about 3 inches on Josh Stone, although knowing Stone she was probably barefoot. How tall is Carol Mcgiffin Rob? I think I heard her once claim 5'10 but I think 5'9" might be nearer? Well, I think I once remember seeing her next to Marti Pellow and they were a similar height, although I couldn't see Carol's footwear, probably had lowish heels on.

er..he lies the same way as anyone else does, that wants to be taller than they are. Talented guy i agree, but having stood 1 foot away from him hes two inches shorter than me at least.. and im 5ft 11. Not a chance is he same height.

If Marti has stated he is 5ft 11 then that's what he is. Why would he lie about his height for? it dont make sense. Marti if you read this my love, i could'nt care less if you were 4ft 9 or 5ft 2....i think your absolutely great and your one of my favourite singers, i love your voice so much. Been a fan of yours since the 80's and will always continue to be. Your looking great as well just as good as you did back in your early days! X

Know Marti very well, hes DEF not 6 ft tall, maybe 5' 10" at the very most, looks taller becos he is so slim but hes quite tiny really

I was thinking barely 5-10, but changed mind I think he can be full 180, 179 min 180 max, has very good posture, he was taller than JOSH GROBAN anywayz, but Marti is ultra skinny, looks good in suit though, and a top bloke, he kept on calling me the big guy, and tough guy and was telling me to say 'AI' instead of yes LOL.

I have had my photo taken with Marti a few times and I am about 5'8" in heels and the top of my head is level with his eyes so I would say that 5'11" is about right. He is slightly shorter than drummer Tommy Cunningham and bassist Graeme Clark in band photos (who are both about 6'0"), and a few inches taller than keyboardist Neil Mitchell.

I have met Marti Pellow loads of times and one time took a photo of him stood next to my husband, they were almost the same height, Marti about an inch shorter, my husband is 6ft 1".

Marti does look like a tall guy because he is very lean, and I was buying the 6ft range - check out the Popped In Souled out album cover, he's the tallest and looks a genuine 6footer, anyway Tom's comment got me checking pictures on the net - here he is next to the 6'2" Winton, 5'9" sounds right, 5'10 at a push.....

Editor Rob I'd always thought this guy looked near 6ft! I agree that the lean-ness thing might be fooling...actually I found this quote from the wetwet forum comparing Darius with Pellow:
"Marti may only come up to shoulder level when stood next to towering Darius - but he still clocks up a respectable 5ft 8in"
Actually reading the wets forum estimates seem to fall in 5ft 9-6ft mark!
