My [Walker Texas Ranger] story: I was cast as a love interest & was thrilled! I showed up at wardrobe 3 days before my episode was to shoot and the wardrobe lady stared at me, picked up the phone, called producers & 10 min later I was fired. Apparently I was too tall to play opposite Chuck Norris!
This was the only time I was ever fired BEFORE the cameras began to roll. LOL! The weird thing is, I had two auditions for producers before I got the role so presumably they knew I was 5 foot 8. Maybe they didn’t notice?
