@ Nik - Indeed it is, Nik, but I do think that a weight-sensitive person has the right to keep his or her weight to him or herself. Good nutrition should be taught in schools, starting at an early age, and made as fun a subject as possible. When I started learning about food values, I found it thoroughly enjoyable; I didn't just memorise calories, but grams of protein in our food too. I had to date been eating a woefully inadequate intake of protein, and I sincerely hope that I nipped the problem in the bud just in the nick of time, but certainly not early enough for my lacklustre diet not to have interfered with my growth, which was doubtless impaired, given that my Mum was 5ft4.5 and my Dad peaked at 5ft11.5.

Exercise is important too in order to develop and maintain strong bones and muscle tissue. The two, diet and exercise, complement each other and being healthy is the best feeling there is!

@ Sandy Cowell - It is better for our society if everyone is honest about their height and their weight, we should all try to be honest from now on and as soon as we possibly can because this is so important for other people and ourselves. We should all try to create a world where everyone is accepting of everyone else because this helps people (inc ourselves) in life in so many ways. 😀👌

I cannot emphasise strongly enough how important it is for people to adhere to what I have said in the above paragraph.
