@ Tall Sam - Hi there Sam! I've noticed that 'Shampoo' is shown every so often on 'Great! movies classic', so I'm keeping my eyes peeled. I haven't seen it so much as even once - yet! ๐

@Miss Sandy Cowell, it's actually been years. While that movie is a sharp satire, Beatty's character is such a nogoodnik that I felt pretty unengaged by it, I like Beatty much more in McCabe & Mrs. Miller as a bumbling fool who becomes a hero practically by accident and gives up his life for it.

I just looked her up and sheโs about 95 years old, surely she needs a peak and a current right?

@ Tall Sam - I can see you've been watching the movie 'Shampoo'!

I recall both her and Julie Christie looking quite a bit under Warren Beatty.

Three of the other 16 Leeโs on celebheights are no taller than Lee Grant and the other three female Leeโs on this site are taller than her! It would be great to see a get together of all the Leeโs, with Rob Paul and Nik Ashton! ๐

Possibly a weak 5โ4โ. She is listed as 162cm in places.

How BRILLIANT to be greeted by the sight of Lee Grant; I saw 'Damien Omen II' very recently and wondered why she didn't have a page! Well, she looks a convincing 5ft4 to me. I saw 'Airport 77' at the pictures while on holiday with my Mum and brother, but it's the more powerful films that I remember, and end up buying.
I haven't put either Omens I or II away yet, because I intend to watch them again. I was lucky to view them together at a special cinema showing way back in 1978.
I remember Lee Remick to be a more suitable partner height of 5ft7 to Gregory Peck's towering great height of 6ft2.5 so I guessed that Lee Grant had to be that much shorter because William Holden was 5ft10.5, so 4" shorter than his 'brother' in the Omen films. The silver screen seem to be finicky about 'suitable-heighted partners' when making movies - for aesthetic reasons, not to reflect on real life, because it simply doesn't, generally speaking.
I'm delighted to give Lee Grant 5ft4.
