'My American Ken of Choice!'
I was looking for an American celebrity called 'Ken' because it occured to me only yesterday that American guys who go by that name are just as likely to be called 'Kendall' as 'Kenneth'!
Come to think of it, I remember a comedy sketch by the fabulous Bill Connolly, wherein he was taking the 'p' out of various names, one of which was 'Kendall'!
So now I have found my American Ken! I wonder what his real name is! Is he a ...neth or a
...dall? But one thing's for sure! According to one of the comments below, he is a true gent, and that, coupled with the fact that his name does ring a bell with me, concludes that he is my 'American Ken of Choice!' Ha ha ha! I rather like that! Added to that, he hasn't had a comment now for 10 and a half years, so there is another great reason!
Ken claimed his optimum height was over 5ft10, when in actual fact, it was probably nearer 5ft9 and now he is likely to have dwindled somewhat to 5ft8, and as that is over 10 years ago, I am taking off another quarter-inch!
The decisions for 'My American Ken of Choice' are therefore as follows:
Peak height - 5ft9
Today's height - 5ft7.75
The end of Ken's first comment in 10 and a half years!

He always seemed to be the shortest guy in Dallas, at least compared to tall actors like Patrick Duffy. As much as I remember he rarely wore cowboys heels and most other actors frequently did, which can make him appear shorter too.

Doesn't seem accurate. In the first season of Dallas he looks even a little shorter than Linda Gray but that could be due to heels she wore. Linda Gray is 1,70cm Ken Kercheval has to be 1,73 / 5-8.

I have worked with Ken in the UK for the past 3 months. He is an absolute Gentleman - and I'd say around 5-8 as I'm 5-10

About 5' 8" at MGM filming Dallas, sometimes less when they propped he & J.R. up after a gin bath in years 3-7.

I wonder why that passion for more accurate than reality lies?
The guy was probably not that tall as claimed, but had to make up a height as precise as half an inch.
