American actress best remembered for roles in films Born Yesterday, Adam's Rib, Bells Are Ringing, It Should Happen to You and Phffft. In a 1955 article it mentioned height and weight:
"Judy, a tall (5-foot, 7-inch) trim (120-pound) intermittent blonde".

@Sandy Cowell
Still pretty tall for an American woman these days too I'd say π

Indeed 5ft7 was tall for a woman back in 1955.
Thatβs what Judy can have from me. ππ

Agree Sam, her and a later Shelley Winters were one of the few women of more regular build in Hollywood, Liz Taylor maybe in the 60's too.

Her and Cukor had a pretty good run in 50s...too bad about her untimely passing. Don't forget about The Marrying Kind, an underrated and fairly heavy dramedy with her and Aldo Ray. Did they try remaking Born Yesterday with Melanie Griffith I think? Griffith's got a similarly annoying voice but with not even a tenth of Holliday's charm. I thought Judy Holliday was a bit build more like a regular woman than the average Hollywood starlet, I would have guessed 130-140 lb.

Oh yeah, Adam's Rib, I have it on DVD and didn't remember it! Largely because Katharine and Spencer stole the show!

Rob you might want to mention best remembered for Born Yesterday, Bells Are Ringing, It Should Happen to You and Phffft!
Mmm I think she was in heels in Born Yesterday and still looked noticeably shorter than William Holden. Her voice was cute at first but by the end of the film becomes extremely annoying when she gets angry with Broderick Crawford!

Judy Holliday was well-known to be plus-sized.
What do you consider "Plus sized"? She was pretty darned svelt in "Born Yesterday".

Correct. Not only did the studios lie about their heights, they lied about the weights as well. Judy Holliday was well-known to be plus-sized.
