I don't think he's as close to 5'7 as some seem to think. He looked nowhere near 2 inches shorter than Michael Cera in Superbad and could honestly look as short as 5'5 there. It's also weird because Emma Stone sometimes looks taller than Jonah Hill in that film, despite both wearing flat sneakers. He was 22 years old at the time, and after that no one grows anything

Right around 5'6" range at least seems likely. Having just watched Maniac, he doesn't look over 5'6.25" for sure. He looks strikingly different with his drastic weight loss (good for him), at times he suggest the young Bob Dylan.

I think his real height is 5'6.35". He has 1.5cm over Dave Franco. Using feet and inches for height is so bad because an inch is really large. You can have two people who can claim 5'6", but one of them will look noticeably taller. Half an inch is more than 1 centimeter.

I saw him the other night in the thoroughly entertaining 'This Is The End', wherein the stars are playing themselves. I'd heard of it before and read mixed reviews, but when I went to order myself a copy on Amazon, which arrived today, I found more public reviews for it than I'd ever seen for any film before, most of them good.
Jonah is definitely a shorter cast member, but nearly all the characters of the film were new to me, except for Seth Rogan and Emma Watson, who has to be 5ft4 and is described as 'tiny' by two actors of around 5ft10 and yes, she does look it in comparison to the others.
I will happily go with 5ft6.25 for Jonah.

@Rob, there’s no way. He’s not one to lie about his height. He’s 5’6.75” (at lowest)-5’7.25” (more likely) for sure. You can tell from any photo you see. 5’6 flat guys don’t look like that.

My guess is that a guy like Jonah Hill has metabolic issues that causes him to gain weight easily. Obviously, he is capable of being slim, but it's harder for him than for people with more well-functioning endocrine systems and healthy metabolisms.

Rob, my out of bed height is 169.7 cm, my night height varies between 168 and 168.6 cm, depending on how hard the day was, but in 80% of the time I'm around 168.5 cm at night. During the day I can pretty much hold up to a 168.7. When people ask me how tall I am, should I say 169 or 168cm?

Editor Rob if you say 168 you are probably going to look that height to the vast majority and not many in life would think you weren't about that range, but saying 169 isn't that much of a round up, especially if you can get 168.5 range consistently.
It really is up to you what you feel best going with. Either mark is fine, at least you are not falling into a trap of adding 2-3cm like many people do.

I think this is about right. He doesn't look much smaller than Michael Cera in Superbad, and, while short, hard to believe he's 5'5". Same height as Daniel Radcliffe? No chance. Keep in mind for Moneyball, Brad Pitt is made to look taller, in order to fit with the listed 6'4" Billy Beane.

Just watched SNL with Leo and him standing side by side. It seems like the difference is between 4-5 inches. If Leo is 5'11 1/2, that would put Jonah between 5'6 1/2 and 5'7 1/2. Now, of course, it's possible that hes wearing footwear that gives him some extra height. I don't think he's quite 5'7 - like myself - but hovers between there and 5'6. Maybe 5'6 1/2 - 5'6 3/4.
