English actress and novelist, best rememebred for TV shows The Gentle Touch and C.A.T.S. Eyes. In a 1979 Spotlight Page she listed herself as 5ft 4in, although once said "I'm 5ft 3in and, thanks to Target Weight prepacked calorie-controlled meals, eight and a half stone."

The 5ft3 is definitely correct! It’s the very height Jill said she was in a magazine article I read about her in the early 80s. I loved her in ‘The Gentle Touch’, but never got into ‘C.A.T.’S. Eyes’.
I read that she was 8-and-a-half stone in the same article. It’s difficult to believe that she ever struggled with her weight. The magazine was called ‘Slimming and Nutrition’.
