Oh, how terrible to discover that Jessica is no longer with us. I'm watching her in an episode of Columbo and I thought how tall she looked next to the lieutenant.

She died in March, aged just turned 80.

she was consistently shorter than portia de rossi in arrested development. i highly doubt she already lost that much height in her 60s and i have seen play misty for me. she wasn't exactly side by side with eastwood.

Donna Mills says she's a redhead. I'd call her a brunette, and not a very nice one either! 😝

Jessica Walter was creepy and unhinged in 'Play Misty For Me', which was for my money anyway, the first 'Fatal Attraction'- style movie ever to have such a shock impact on its viewers! She must have been her full height then, though compared to Clint, she didn't strike me as a tall 5ft8.

I will still give it to her though, and take two inches off for today's height.

She's the voice actress of Malory Archer in the animated show Archer! Her character was modeled after her and on her characters stats, was given 5'8 as her height! I guess that's her peak height.

From stills does seem taller back in Play Misty for Me with Clint..it's possible that she's lost more than a couple inches.

Genuinely had no idea she was this tall. Haven't seen Misty in ages but would have been surprised if she pulls off anything over 5'5" in Arrested Development. She might have heel advantages at times but I think 5'6" listed Portia De Rossi almost always looked taller than Walter.

Thanks, can you squeeze in Bye Bye Braverman. Yeah about 5 ft 8 peak seems a good shout. 2 inch loss now is probable. Got a good look at her in a few films with guys like Heston and Garner, generally looked in 5'7.5-5'8 range but at times could look a decent 5'8 er. Looked totally crazy in the 60s and 70s, especially with shorter hair, especially in Play Mist for Me with Eastwood. Looked beautiful in Grand Prix with long hair though. A pity she didn't have a stronger career in 70s and 80s but she had a daughter after Play Mist for Me and never regained the spotlight.
