Would you believe in the past I thought she was actually around 5'5? I was seeing her from her waist up, that's why. If she actually had proportionate legs she might be around that height. Wow, she has short legs. 5'2 might be accurate. (Evangeline, you think she has long legs? LOL, look again... if you can catch her without heels which give a great illusion of long legs. Even Simpson complains about how short they are.)

"Celebrities don't lie about their height, well some may but most do not." Oh, now that's just hilarious. Celebrities lie about EVERYTHING. Age, height, weight, eye color (Paris Hilton's eyes are brown and she wears blue contacts 24-7), marital status (Janet Jackson was married for many years and lied the whole time), whether or not they've had plastic surgery, and the list goes on and on... Height is nothing! It's not even the tip of the iceberg.

And i thought she seems so much taller,like 5 ft 6 inches when i saw on her shows.She seems to have pretty long legs.But i glad to have found out how tall she really is.

I was stationed at Ramstein Air Base when she visited Germany recently and had the chance to meet her. A number of the other girls there were in the 5'2 to 5'4" range, and comparatively Jessica was definitely smaller than all of them. She is no more than 5'1" tall.

I remember she was on the 70s show and the short girl on that show is listed at 5'3" and jessica simpson was no doubt shorter then she was

Yep J., I think this kind of stuff has a lot to do with what time of day you are measured at. A couple months ago I tried to measure my height at the end of the day relative to it at the beginning of the day, I found that I lost more than 1 cm of height during the day! In the morning I measured to be almost 187 cms, but by the end of the day I was just under 186 cms. That being said, it is a well known fact that height is not a fixed rate, but Rob did mention some ways to make sure that your spine doesn't shrink too drastically during the day and during one's lifetime. That being said, it is also interesting to know which height is indeed the official one, when people ask me my height, I usually just say 185 cm, or 6'1" in feet, in reality I know that I am somewhat taller than this in the morning, but people also don't see when I am straight out of bed, they most likely see me when I have atleast somewhat shrunken. And yeah, by the sound of R's in person estimates it definately wouldn't shock me if he was a 6 footer out of bed. I think how tall you are in the morning also has a lot to do with how you sleep, people will definately stand taller in the morning if they sleep properly on their back instead of on their stomach. We know that the NFL combine measures heights in the morning, so do many an Army around the world, but many places use the 4 hours standing rule as well.
