He certainly had the face of a 6'3 aristocratic type. Very long nose, similar aristocratic features to Ben Fogle. If there was a category for "Arrogant Men", Clarkson, Kyle and Paxman would be among the tallest!

Chances are he was a very solid 6ft1 guy in his prime, maybe 186cm.

Did you see how mad Jeremy Kyle went with Ant and Dec when they flew out to America and secretly and brilliantly disguised, got themselves a slot on his show out there? One of them, Dec I think, pretended that the other one thought he was a cat and insisted on walking on all fours and eating from a cat bowl! Mr Kyle fell for it and when they came clean, he went completely berserk, pushing chairs over and screaming and shouting!
When he showed up on their 'Saturday Night Takeaway' by then he had simmered down, but good grief, he didn't like to be the butt of such humiliation! That he failed to recognise the two of them I think is what really did his brain in!

I might have mentioned this incident on Ant's page last year, but it was worth bringing up again, if only because it helped me remember how angry he could get being conned into believing someone wanted to live like a cat, and, up against the much bigger Jeremy Paxman, who has a far more serious reputation, I believe the fur would fly once more!

I genuinely do not think he is as listed. I met him 20 year ago and I was taller. My absolute low is 182.5 cm so I believe that he was 5'11 peak and probabky shorter today.

More like 6'1", met him when filming for University Challenge in early 2017 and even with a knee injury he was the second tallest person in the room. I'll go for 187cm. He was actually very nice.

Ha ha! Jeremies galore! Three fifths are 6 foot plus and two of them - bang on average height!
Well I do know this Jeremy, what with him being on our TV's so much, but as he's almost exclusively on 'geezery' programmes, I don't watch him unless I'm in the company of my boyfriend!
However, from what I have taken in, I'd say 6ft is a good estimate, so adding an inch for his peak height is common sense. It's hardly as though I've followed his career!

Hes got very strong facial features that wouldn't look out of proportion on a 6ft3 guy and he's long-limbed. A 6ft1 guy with that build could get guessed that high.

I think he might still clear 6ft by a fraction today. At peak no less than 6ft1

you can tell he's on the tall side even by his face structure.

Tall or not certainly wouldn't want to work with him.
