Watching her, as I am again, in Scanners, I’m wondering whether, at that particular stage in her life, she had one of the most perfect female faces ever…🤔?
Hers is similar, feature-wise, to that of Deborah Harry, who
also starred in one of David Cronenberg’s films: Videodrome. Indeed a pleasant distraction from a scary and highly unusual plot!
Realistically, I think Jennifer is 5ft7.75. 😀💐

In the 80s, still at her peak, yes, but later in the 80s she had surgery I think and went all Dynasty with the hairdo with Cover Girl. Still beautiful but a bit too uch of a Hollywood stereotype by the end of the decade.

@ Arch - Jennifer was in her early 30's when 'Scanners' was made, and that is often thought of as a woman's peak, but I wonder how pretty she looked in the 70's if she was even more beautiful? Her skin was virtually translucent and her facial features perfect when she starred in 'Scanners', which I saw on the big screen and had to stay for a second serving to see the exploding head again! Those days, effects like that, not to mention the shocking and parasitic display at the end, were few and far between! Kronenburg hit new heights with that film, and Videodrome, which I also saw at the pictures and sat through again for a free, bonus showing! I bet you can't do that now!

It's AMAZING! I have suddenly recognized her! She's the pretty actress who wore her hair grey for her part in 'Scanners'! She has wonderful skin; I can't help but think that whenever I see the film!
I will agree with Arch's 5ft7 and a quarter because 'Scanners' is the only film I have seen of those mentioned above!
When I first saw her entry, never did I imagine that I'd be able to make a reasonable comment on her! I'm quite chuffed that I could after all!
