Recently?? Here is a picture of him alongside Heidi Klum (listed at 5'9.5"), who is wearing heels. Jay might be having a slight heel to his shoes but not as much as Heidi's were they appear along the same size. Heidi might have an inch, two at most on him but they look pretty similar in height which would make him a true 5'9, perhaps 5'10 with dress shoe heels.

Saw him backstage recently at one of his shows (FEB 27, 2013). Did not get too close to him or take a picture but saw on the same level pretty close by, no hat. Looks a solid 5'9, bit wide upper body, good proportions. Strong presence here (Click Here) with Heather Small 5'4, who appears to be wearing heels. Maybe a strong 5'9 at his peak??

I think 5'8" is the largest possible for this man as I may have not lost all my height as it was early morning on my way to work.

Was just watching some photos from celeb events and he seemed shorter than 5ft9 maybe 5ft7-5ft8. Compared to legit 5ft10 sportsmen he seems short. I'll send U some pic later.

I`d say Jay Kay is 170cm looking at the pics with Jodie Kidd whos 6ft 1" and Bernie Ecclestone whos 5ft 2" there is much more of a difference between kidd and Jay Kay than there is between Jay Kay and Bernie Ecclestone! Click Here

Hi, I saw him at several gigs (including two private gigs where i shook his hand ) and I thought he was about 5ft7. I'm 5ft10 (178 cm) and I can affirmed that I was at least taller than 2 inches !! He can't be taller than 172 cm ..

he's more like 5'10 because i'm around 5'11 and he was only one inch smaller than me when i met him at the gig they did in dubai, and he was wearing trainers which don't add any height.

I'm beginning to think he is taller than expected ( 5'9" ). There's a lot of people who thought/think he is much shorter though. I guess the lesson is, don't wear huge novelty sized hats, as they give the wearer 'Oompah Loompah' proportions.

Call me sexist, but I've never known a girl to give an accurate height. In my experience they're worse than male celebs for fudging their heights up 2-3".
