It really blew mind to find out that daughter Sophie is so tall! She's got to be 5ft8 or so.

This former 'Blue Peter' presenter looks 5ft2.5 to me.

More like 5'2.5-75. My mom's 5'2" and I'm 5'8 and she comes up tp my upper lip and one of my ex girlfriend's was 5ft and she came up to my chin so yeah. And a man's head is 9-10 inches

Funny but Rob gives off a tall and broad impression in this photo. Sophie Ellis Bexter is tall though isn't she 5'9" or 5'10", I vaguely remember looking into it and reading her father is 6'4", explains her height I guess.

I work in fashion retail and we consider 5ft 3 and under small, 5ft 3.5 to 5ft 5.5 average and over 5ft 6 tall, this is British heights though

And in my town, girls who are 5'4" or under are considered short. You must be tiny yourself if you can honestly say 5'6" is "tall".

Actually, I think a legit 5'6" woman can pull off looking tall in big heels, Jolie, Denise Richards etc have all looked 5'9" to me at times.

5'6" for a girl is not tall, but tallish yes. A female this height is as tall for a woman as a 5'11.5" male for a man. Most people consider 6'0" to be tall for a man even these days. The corresponding female height is 5'6.5".

5ft3-5ft4 is average for women 5ft1-5ft2 is shortish, 5ft5-5ft6 is tallish.

Had a conversation with Ted Leo at one his shows in late 2005, Im 5'10" barefoot but wear mostly canvas shoes, so I dont much extra height. Ted was wearing boots and had a good 4-5 inches on me. I'd bet hes at least 6'2". Im drunk watching Marked for Death and wondered how tall Steven Seagal was! Wow, I need to find something to do!
