I remember the face but not the name, so Iβm going along with Robβs - and Ianβs - 6ft. π

Held up well next to Baker but there is a chance that Tom might've been a little under 6ft3?
I could see that and perhaps a strong 6ft for this guy
Editor Rob
Tom could have been weakish 6ft 3, he certainly had some looser posture than other actors.

I canβt see him being just 6-0. Iβve watched all his episodes several times with Tom and he looks 6-1 min to 6-3 Tom. Definitely needs upgrade
Editor Rob
Tom a lot of time could look 6ft 2-2.5 on the show, I know what you mean though, marter could seem within 2 inches at times.

@ Rob - All the Doctors Who had a fair spattering of companions through the years, and having the safety of these youngsters in his capable hands added to the fun - and the fear factor. Doctor Who wasn't the sort of character to show any signs of being a chicken, so the kids and adults alike found an affinity with his companions, but an admiration for the fearless Doctor. It was such fun, I have a good mind to get back into it to observe how it's changed over the years. I MIGHT even enjoy it again!
Cheers Rob!

So Ian was in 70's Doctor Who, was he? I must have seen him then, and enjoyed his performance, seeming as it was one of my weekly highlights!
I can give him 6ft and more importantly, his first comment! ππ
Editor Rob
He was a companion for a season or so, and did look shorter than Tom, though held up quite well, his 6ft claim seemed quite believable.
