Henry Brandon's Height
6ft 2 ½ (189.2 cm)
German actor, best remembered for appearing in films like Babes in Toyland, Commanche, Drums of Fu Manchu, The Searchers and Cattle Drive.
There are good and bad people of all races. I have played countless heavies of various nationalities and never felt that I was maligning any race by doing so.
This includes Germans and my adopted nationality - American.
Quite recently I told a Chinese actress, who professed to be deeply offended by Fu Manchu, that I believed that there would be little criticism by Chinese if an Oriental actor played the role. Anyway there are very few tall Chinese actors. I am six feet two inches, and I wore two-inch lifts in my boots.

6'2.5" just seems wrong, unless the man always wore lifts. In "Vera Cruz", he appeared taller than both Gary Cooper and Cesar Romero. And in "The Searchers", he appeared not far off in height from John Wayne (in his cowboy boots, nonetheless). He has been listed as 6'5", as previously mentioned. Perhaps he did usually wear lifts.
Here he is looking very similar in height to Jeff Chandler (6'4"):
Click Here -- neither are quite standing up straight, but if they were, I reckon the difference would be negligible.

…..plus a dark, non-German-style tan, making him suitable for looking convincing in Westerns!

I’ve always wanted to see Babes In Toyland, which sounds a good thriller-type film. I read about it decades back.
Henry did have German facial features, and a super-tall height.
6ft2.5.

Rob, if Brandon claimed "six feet two", why do you give him 6'2.5"?

He could have been rounding down, he did have a scene in Vera Cruz in which he pulled off looking near 6ft 3.
