Watching Game of Thrones I would probably guess 6'2½" or a weak 6'3", especially in comparing her to Coster-Waldau, but they are on uneven ground quite frequently. Definitely a uniquely built specimen and a fine actress!

a good 7 inches...this girl in person that morning definitely looked extremely tall 6ft 3...

She is also listed at 176 pounds on some bios, which is still a bit underlisted.

Gal Gadot who is around 6 inches Shorter than Christie weighed near 150 pounds during the Filming of Wonder Woman and if you think Christie is only 10 pounds heavier than Gal THINK Again lol.

She is an attractive tall woman and weighs easily 180 lbs.
Jordan87 said on 23/Jul/17
S.j.h.,

How can you distinguish 8 pounds on a human who is this tall ? Also i really doubt 160 pounds. A woman this tall can weigh 185-190 without looking overweight .
Editor Rob
yeah 160 is a resume height, 185 is closer to what she would weigh on the scales.
S.J.H said on 19/Jul/17
She don't look 168 pounds. Maybe she was once this heavy but look just about 160 pounds now or a little lower.
Editor Rob
on a rigged scale she'd be 160, but on my scales I doubt she'd be under 180 pounds.

a legitimate 6 foot 3 , i think shes 150 to 160 pounds

I think she is 191cm exactly :) She is basically the tallest cast member on Game of Thrones, because 6'3.25" is the female equivalent of a man who is 6'8.25" - And Kristian Nairn is 6'8" nowadays.

Mark 5'9.25",

She is standing Taller than Rob in the picture. Notice him Leaning his neck down a bit. Her eye Level is around 7" more than Robs, so 6'3 ish would make sense except do you see how small her head is? Do me a favor and Compare her Head to someone like Alistair Petrie( Huge Dome - prolly something like an 8-3/8" Hat size lol). Compare the height chart , same height or very close except I am almost certain she would be " Looking down at him".

I also think Someone like Michael Shannon's head would be much higher than Hers, yet she would look down on him , having a higher eye level. Give her an average male head and yes she would easily be 6'3-1/2, even 6'4".
Canson said on 16/Jun/17
6'3.25 depending on when she was measured means she's prob 6'2.75-6'3 at her lowest no higher no lower
Mark(5'9.25 said on 15/Jun/17
under 6'3" is underselling Gwendoline. This listing is perfect. 6'3.5" is another figure I want to argue for her.
Jordan87 said on 12/Jun/17
Rob,

Maybe its her tiny head that is throwing me off. I mean If she had Michael Shannon's head I think she would be 6'4"!
Jordan87 said on 8/Jun/17
Gwendoline has straighter Posture than Rob cleary. Her head is tilted down Slightly but not enough to offset Rob's Leaning there, Rob could easily be Standing a Bit Straighter. She is about 6'2.75".No Where in this Picture does her Head pass 6'3" unless you are including her hair, and even then, Rob is not at his straightest.
Editor Rob
I'd be surprised if she really did drop under 6ft 3.

@Shane: that's a lot I agree with Rob. My max loss has put me about an inch lower maybe 1.05 less than my out of bed. I think 193.1 or .2 (6'4.03-.05) is my lowest whereas I'm 195.8 (6'5.09) out of bed. Hence why in my case I some days claim 6'4 and change or 6'4.5 but never 6'5. Sometimes even just 6'4.That's a lot for you tho at 6'2 out of bed to dip down to 6'0.75. I may have gotten lower but wasn't on my feet long enough probably (although) I've tried it twice and gotten around the same both times.

The more I see tho Gwen is not over 6'3 at her lowest. She does look under I agree with Christian and Bobby. Maybe 6'4.5 is rounded up from 6'4 1/8 or just 6'4 like Christian said either way that's a lot of height if she dips below 6'3

Rob,do you think she really lose 1.5 inches in a day to compression? At 6'2" barefoot (male), I've lost over an inch before, like 1.25. Maybe women this tall lose more in a day than most men?
Editor Rob
I don't think it's impossible, though still a bit more rarer even at 6ft 2-4 to lose a full 1.5 inches.
World Citizen said on 24/May/17

AlexMahone said on 20/May/17
@BillisaLefty Is this serious? 6'1" or 6'2" for Christie? Please see the picture with Rob. She's very similar for peak Kevin Sorbo. Some people wants to prove that she's only 6'2.5" because they cannot believe there are life over 6'3". Christie is a legit 191cm.
Bard said on 17/May/17
Christian and Rampage, it's more like 6'9. You need to take differences in standard deviations for men and women into account, you can't just add the average difference of around 5". I know we're arguing over mere inches, but that's what matters on this site.

A woman as tall as Christie in the UK is about 1 in 50,000.

This might help: Click Here
BillisaLefty said on 17/May/17
She's definitely a legit 6'1''. maybe even 6'2''. However, I think she exaggerates her height like most men do.
Christian-196.5cm (6ft5 3/8) said on 13/May/17
@Rampage(-_-_-)Clover

A 6ft3 woman isn't the equivalent of a 6ft10-11 man, lol. Women are about 5 inches shorter then men (in most countries), so her male equivalent would be 6ft8 or so.
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 11/May/17
@Gwynbleidd: I wouldn't write it off...6ft3 is the female euivalent of what 6ft10-11 would be for a man...by nature they have a more dramatic fluctuation from morning to night...A 6ft3-6ft5 woman would have similar experiences. Her spine would be much longer than the norm and the discs a lot more mobile. It's uncommon for a woman to grow that tall so I imagine there might be a very mild case of giantism...but obviously not on the same wavelength as Lindsay Hayward or Amazon Eve.

Although if her dad is 6ft7 and her mother is 6ft it may not be the case
Canson said on 10/May/17
@Jordan: normal low maybe not an absolute low
Gwynbleidd said on 9/May/17
Gwen could easily lie about her height and say something along the lines of 6' 4-4.5" as her slender physique and corrected posture would aid her in that claim, but nope; she's always stuck to the absolute truth about the highs and lows of her height. Haven't seen her on GOT, but on Star Wars she can even look 6' 5". Her actual height is a strong 6' 3", probably around 6' 3.25", the listing that's already accurately here. Her claim of 6' 4.5" when she awakes is very plausible as well.
Christian-196.5cm (6ft5 3/8) said on 9/May/17
Editor Rob: bobby, I think her claim is very believable, 6ft 4.5 when rising out of her bed, and after a night out she'll be 6ft 3 flat.

------

I would take her 6ft4.5 out of bed claim with a grain of salt. A 1.5" loss is unusual even for a tall person like her. Even in my most extreme low I only lose 1 1/8" from my out of bed height. Maybe her morning height was 6ft4 and she just rounded up to 6ft4.5

6ft4 out of bed and 6ft3-6ft3.25 before bed makes the most sense.

Andrea said on 14/Mar/17
Well, her claim isn't that specific, to be fair! She doesn't say "I'm 6'4.5 out of bed and 6'3 in the evening"... It could be a lot of things. Maybe she might mean she's 6'3 range barefoot and 6'4.5 in shoes or maybe it's just a typo of the journalist (maybe she said 6'3.5 instead of 6'4.5) or maybe she simply got measured 1.5 inch taller than she is once (by the same doctor that measured Big G at 5'8 😉)! But yeah, since she says "depending on WHEN...", it is natural to think she's talking about the time of the day...
Canson said on 14/Mar/17

Rob,

Based on eye levels she is about 6.25 inches taller than you. To me she doesn't look opver 6'2.5. Her hair is at the 6'3" Mark and there is no way that's the top of her head the way I see it.

I voted 6'2.5 from what I remember.

Editor Rob
Sarah, to give you an idea, This lady is near 159cm, so you might look a little shorter with Gwendoline.

I think both stood roughly similar from watching the photo taken.

My favorite part is where he claims he can give a 5'9" to 5'10" impression. Who is confusing a guy who dips a chunk under 5'7" for 5'10"?
Editor Rob
Matthew, in fairness I can understand people guessing someone 3 inches or 4 inches taller...it is much rarer than say being 1-2 inches off, which is far more common.

I have great respect for the man or woman who doesn't blink and says their honest height. 😸

I can believe her as measuring 6'3" in the evening, but I do highly doubt the 6'4.5" in the morning. That's probably what heavyset 7 footers experience, not what someone 6'3" range would have. I'm 6'3"(ish) myself and only lose about .75" over the course of the day.

Uncomfortable?

Bobby, I am feeling quite happy this moment because I was able to get a decent photo with her. I'd missed a chance the previous year of obtaining a photo, so it was fantastic to rectify the situation.

But all I'm saying is that the taller the person is the more height they lose. So I don't understand why you said "when your that tall your not supposed to lose that much"

Johan, the standard deviation in heights for women is less than it is for men, so you can't assume a constant difference of 5 inches for exceptionally tall people.

A fairer way to calculate her male equivalent would be to multiply the average male height by the proportion that she is of the average female height. Assuming that UK and USA average heights are the similar, you can use your numbers (in inches) to get:

(69.7)*(75.25/64.7) = 81.1, or a hair over 6'9".

Not a huge difference, but still about an inch more than you'd get with your assumption.
Johan said on 22/Apr/16
5 inch difference is typical in many countries such as

USA - 5'4.7" women - 5'9.7" men. So just a shade off 5'5" for women and 5'10" for men.

A man in this case would be 6'8.25".
LoganNoll1996 said on 19/Apr/16
mrtguy, a 6'4" woman is equivalent to a 6'9" man so Gwendoline could be equivalent to Nash if he is 6'8.25" nowadays.
Damian said on 18/Apr/16
Hey rob would u say to the tip of a persons nose to the very top of their head is possibly 7 inches? Just curious.
Editor Rob
on average a man's eyelevel is in 4.5-4.6 range. If a man or woman's eyelevel was 5 inches and they had a 2-inch long nose then yes it will be around 7 inches.

The average though is nearer 4.5 than 5 for eyelevel and eye-end of nose average is a bit less than 2, so it can really range from 6 up to 7 inches...more than 7 is possible for a person with a very big head though.

Allie said on 9/Apr/16
Alex and BobbyH she said depending on when you measure her. The equivlement man would be like 6'8 or so, and I highly doubt everyone loses under an inch of height from morning to evening, especially a woman of her height.
5'13.5 said on 8/Apr/16
@iggity I believe it's more 5'4", at least that is what I get from the studies I've seen.
Alex said on 7/Apr/16
Obviously her sentence about 6'4 is completely false, she's a 190,5 cm with sneakers, so her real height is 189 cm. No one from 189 cm can reach 193 cm of height. This woman is exactly as Zachary Levi
5'13.5 said on 4/Apr/16
@mrtguy Yeah, Women have smaller heads than Men on the average, if you had a 5'8" woman stand next to a 5'8" man you'll most likely end up with the woman's eye level being above that of the man's eye level due to the difference in proportions of the man and the woman.
mrtguy said on 31/Mar/16
@kreyzig 6ft 3 Rob has a bigger forehead than her and his head probably measures a little longer.

It's really weird to see a woman that tall. I mean, even men her height are pretty rare, but I think I've never seen a woman taller than 6' 2" my entire life... A woman is already considered tall at 5' 8" or even 5' 7", so let alone almost 6' 4" lol
Gary said on 11/Mar/16
Why is rob's forehead smaller than hers, is that an advantage that taller people have? They have longer and bigger foreheads. My mom is 4 inches shorter than rob, which means she would be a little below rob's eye brows, or unless rob is on his yippie toes in this pic, Which could make him appear above 5ft8. I don't know, but to me her head looks bigger than robs, or rob is that basic flat headed guy.
Editor Rob
I'm looking straight ahead, her eyelevel is tilted down a half inch more than if she was looking straight ahead.

I love this beautiful, confident lady! I love her character Brienne of Tarth from GoT and I love how Gwendolyn is proud of her uniqueness. She's a great role model. I think she seems like a really fun, cool person in real life, too, from what I've seen of her in interviews and on panels. Would love to meet her someday. Also, I work with a woman who is the same height as Gwendolyn Christie. She makes me feel like a dwarf when I stand next to her. Lol She's also very proud of her height though she says its very hard to find pants and shoes in her size. I can only imagine. I'm 5'5" with a 34" inseam (freakishly long legs :'( which makes everyone think I'm a lot taller than I actually am) and I have a hard time finding pants that fit me as well. Lol

@Rob, I like your new quote box thing, but perhaps you could have them in a shrinkable quote box to avoid clutter? An idea of course might be to have sub pages for certain celebrities in which you could compile as many quotes as you like. I also love the hovering height chart comparison here. Is it possible you could introduce that to all your pages with photographs? I really think it is needed and might curb some of the "Jason Momoa is 6'2.5" type posters. It's probably one of the most important features you could have on here I think.

Rampage where did you get that a 6'3 woman = 7 ft man? Isn't it typically a 5 inch difference? Ex 5'11 woman = 6'4 man. 5'5 woman = around 5'10 man?
Wouldn't it be 6'3 Gwen = 6'8 man?
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 18/Jan/16
A 6ft3 woman is the equivalent of a 7ft man so fluctuating by 1in+ isn't uncommon.
I'm 6ft3¾ at my lowest and can at best max out at 6ft4½ out of bed because of my shorter spine.

HEy rob,

How tall would you think she'll be before bed(your modest estimate), coz I hold a couple of mms(mostly 2-3mms) above 6'3, hence I go with 6'3.25(is it alright), basically i'm to 6'3 what you're to 5'8, so what i'm asking you is that to qualify a certain mark, how near would you have to be it before bedtime according to your opinion? Immediately after bed i'm 193 though...
Editor Rob
I think at night she probably is still around 6ft 3 on the nose
Ice said on 2/Jan/16
The reason why she is the most impressive looking 6'3 person on this site , is because , Ill guarantee you , no man who Rob took a picture with and is listed as 6'3 measures as high as 6'4.5 straight out of bed . If so , he would claim AT LEAST 6'4 , and Rob would also list him as that .

@Tunman
In fact I once skimmed over on one of my spanish class mates PDF study on antropology at the uni, it comprised a period spanning from middle ages to XVI century or so, if my memory doesn't fail me.
The focus was on skeletal body proportion reconstruction, with a strong focus on height.
May remnants were expected to be badly deteriorated, so all the fun relied on making an ecuated guess on the subjects height based solely on tibial length.
It was clearly stated that due to gravity, the space between bertevrae is reduced and the average loss is an exact 2cm which is roughly 80% on an inch,
so that difference was to be substracted from the expected height of the subject.

This is science, based on statistical data, no guess here.
Tunman said on 20/Dec/15
@Andrea
Actually there is a possiblity for a large difference between the highest and lowest mark even for an average man but probably very rare. Here are 6 measurements of mine
Just think that for every measurement I really force the can down
highest ever:178,75
normal highest 178,2-4
bad morning height:178,0-1
normal lowest 176,7
bad lowest 176,2 (maybe after a day spent leaning on a bad position)
worst ever 175,8 (got a very sore back and bad posture after a long day standing up then 3 hours carrying heavy loads)
Also imagine that I managed to hit 179,2 when putting the can at that exact mark but that wasn't what I would call a conventional measurement.
Well I'm sure of my measurements since I probably measured myself over 100 times since 2010 and I'm not a troll though of course anyone is free to think so.Just to point out that there is nearly 3 cms difference between my highest and lowest, but my normal day loss is between 1,5 and 1,7cm.
Rob could be an even more reliable example he once measured 175,1 (in fact 175,3 on stadiometer) and in his own words he may very well dip a couple of mms under 5'8 after say a 90 mins football game.

Andrea said on 14/Dec/15
Yeah, i'm not saying that 6'4.5 out of bed is totally impossible! I know Jenny can lose a full inch, so if you consider that Gwen is about 7 inches taller, you'd expect at least a big inch loss throughout the day... The fact is that she wasn't so specific when she came out with 6'4.5! Also, i must say that i'd take visitors' comments with a pinch of salt... This site is full of trolls, you just have to read the "General height" page to realize that! I've read some people who claimed to lose 4 cms... People who said to wake near 177-178 and shrink to 173 range by evening. In that case, i just have a laugh! I can believe a guy like Daniel Cudmore is 6'6.5 at his low and wakes up near the 6'8 mark, but an average height guy? No!!! Well, apart from big G who is 5'8 out of bed and 5'6.5 by the end of the day :)

@Mathew Robinson That's probably because she was wearing thinner shoes than Rob perhaps?
Editor Rob

Lol said on 12/Dec/15
I highly doubt she enjoys being that tall. I've talked to many "giant" women and none of them have liked it. Some have gotten to a point where they accept it and are fine with it, but never wanted to be taller or didn't wish they were shorter.. she's making that up to make her seem more confident about it obviously
Andrea said on 12/Dec/15
Maybe she meant that she could measure 6'3 or 6'4.5, depending on whether she is wearing shoes or not? She wasn't so specific, she didn't say she is 6'4.5 out of bed...
I don't doubt she'd measure near the 6'3 mark, but this 1.5 inch loss seems a lot, even for a girl of this height! Also, if she really measured "out of bed", i doubt she did it at a hospital or something like that so there's always a room for error! I don't think she has a stadiometer near her bed like Big Rob :)
Maybe she did a measurement with her hand against the wall and ROUGHLY obtained 6'4.5... I can believe she can loose a big inch, though. Maybe she's 6'3 before bed and a hair over 6'4 after waking up?
Editor Rob
remember Jenny can lose a full inch in height. Some people I've read on here over the years claim to lose 3cm, a few rare saying 1.25-1.4 range as well!

There is always margin of error measuring. Some people might use their hand as you say and it could be a rough idea, not so precise a measurement...
Canson said on 12/Dec/15
A case can be made to call her 6'3 1/2 but not 6'4. out of bed height is completely irrelevant and your mid day height should be more the truth or whatever whole number you fall closest to at the end of the day. If she were 6'3.5 at her lowest, minimum, it may become arguable to upgrade but A true 6'4 person doesn't go to bed at a flat 6'3.
mrtguy said on 1/Dec/15

I like Gwendoline, and Brienne is one of my favorite characters on Game of Thrones, but c'mon.

And I'd say this is accurate. She's noticeably taller than the 6'1.5" Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. I guessed she was 6'3" or 6'4".

Rob on average what do you lose a day from am to pm? (me I lose .75on avg) what about u rob? and do you think she can wake up at 6'4.5?
Editor Rob
yes, straight out of bed and at night I could believe some of them will shrink 1.25 -1.5 inches if they are in that height range of several inches over six feet.
Mathew Robinson (190 cm) said on 16/Nov/15
I don't believe the 6'4.5" out of bed thing at all. 1.5" loss? I don't think so. I could believe a 1" loss, but it's not like we're talking about someone who is 6'10" and 380 lbs here. Unless she's got a completely disproportionately long spine, it' hard to imagine that. On my worst day I'll lose about 2 cm. I don't see why she would lose twice as much height as me throughout the day.
Editor Rob
some people can shrink over an inch even at 5ft 7-8 range. Here is a link to a small study on 3 people. They took 56 days of measurements and the mean loss in one of the men was 2.8cm. This guy basically woke at 174.86 on average (pretty similar to me) and shrank to 172.05 on average.

It depends on the length of the back which affects size of the vertebrae. Some people are "all leg" and others are "all torso." In the case of the latter, larger vertebrae mean the discs would compress a longer distance and cause greater height loss over the day. I met her myself and she looked an easy 6'3" if not slightly more.

Whenever I see her in interviews or whatever though she really comes across as intimidating and a bit in your face, a bit obnoxious at times, but overall a nice girl I think. I wonder if deep down she is a little insecure about it and puts on a brave face and acts that way to compensate. Usually when somebody brags about something or seems a bit cocky with something there's an insecurity there. It must be incredibly difficult as an actress this tall getting decent general roles alongside regular sized men, so I find it a bit hard to believe she'd genuinely want to grow even taller.

Editor Rob
I can believe her 6ft 4.5 out of bed to 6ft 3 flat at night claim....so for a chunk of the day she'd be in that 6ft 3.5 range..
I saw her firstly at night in the lobby of a hotel and thought she wasn't over 6ft 3. Then in the photoshoot next day saw her with many people and it was before mid-day so she wouldn't be at her low, I thought she could look a comfortable 6ft 3, I could buy a fraction over it then.

Lorne??? said on 8/Jun/15
1.5 inches is pretty extreme, even at that height, for a female.

She seems honest though. I can believe she's varied over 3cm morning to night; maybe 190.5-191 low, 193 morning, and maybe close to 194 at her max.

But remember, Jenny at one point could vary 1.1 inches morning till night, from about 5'9 morning, to just under 5'8 night(on stadio) so actually 3-4cm loss for a big 6'3 woman is quite feasible...
Editor Rob
and that is near age 40, at a younger age the spine and discs have a better capacity to hold more water than each subsequent decade. Although you won't really notice till more into 50's and 60's that your morning height isn't as good as your early 20's.
Andrea said on 6/Jun/15
Yeah, of course a taller person will probably lose more height than your average one! But you think every tall guy (above 6'3) will lose 1.5 inches? I mean, a Michael Phelps who's got a long torso (and spine) will lose what? 2 inches?
Editor Rob
proportionally it might only be an inch longer than some other 6ft 2-3 men, so the difference might be just a small fraction.
Andrea said on 5/Jun/15
Do you really think she loses as much as 1.5 inches? That's a very big loss, even for a 6'3 person! So, you think a guy like McPartlin wakes up at 6'6? O.O
Editor Rob
yes because her spine is several inches longer than your 5ft 5-6 women, so that extra size could mean a bigger loss.
Andrea said on 5/Jun/15
I thought 6'3 was a fair listing enough, but a fraction over is not impossible... Do you think that's her low, Rob?
Editor Rob
I think she can go from close to 6ft 4.5 first thing to 6ft 3 before bed...I'm sure she's measured a few times so maybe last time she was 6ft 3.25 and goes with it.

Assuming a normal distribution of height (a good assumption) then ~1% (which represents 3 standard deviations of distribution with a 99% level of confidence) of women are either three standard deviations taller or shorter than average. The standard deviation of U.S. women's height is 2.5" so that means 15.8 million women are either taller than or shorter than 5'4.5" by 7.5". As the distribution is normal then half or 7.9 million U.S. women are 6ft or taller. With the average man being 5'10" that means there are a lot of taller women out there thank god!

Lmfao if there are 7.9 million American women over 6 ft then there must be 1 billion American women in total. There might be 2 million American women who are 5'10 and over.. but 6'0? Thats 500-700,000 tops

Gigantic woman. With heels she is taller than ~100% of people.

Who do you think would be taller in person Rob, Gwendoline or Jared Padalecki?
Editor Rob
Jared appears taller up close, but Gwendoline I'm sure is 6ft 3 at her lowest and has a frame that can make her appear a bit taller than that.

I think Sly would just look at his feet and shrug his shoulders if he ever bumped into her/got photographed.

Even in my biggest boots I'd stand no chance.
Editor Rob
I'm working with a company 'Slytech Industries' on Variable height boosting shoes.
Meet a 6ft 3 girl and feeling low? No problem, with Slyboosters you simply press a secret button and your boots increase to your desired height, while your trousers unravel in length to accommodate your sudden growth.
They are being tested on a Guinea Pig as we speak.

@184.3cm 6'4.5 would be a shoe listing as shoes add 3cm so 194cm 6'4.5 some people take shoe listings but most of the time its barefoot and thats your true height and thats why she's 6'3/191cm

She's a very very tall girl. Giant and pretty

Even a woman this tall has to exaggerate..6'4.5" how did she ever get that number? Looks 190-191 in the pic so good listing.
Sam said on 2/Apr/15
Yeah, guess I should be more understanding since I can lose a full inch myself as well (generally 0.75-1 inch), but to lose double the average (0.75) seems very unlikely, but more so likely for a very tall lady like Gwendoline Christie.
Tunman said on 25/Mar/15
@John and Sam
maybe 6'4.25 out of bed, and she preferred to say 6'4.5?losing 1.25 or 3 cm is much more possible in my opinion.
I think it's more in relation to water in the discs rather than spine length.Jenny loses generally a full inch while Rob,being about the same height loses only 0.6-0.7"
John said on 21/Mar/15
@ Sam

I agree on this. If she was more 6'3 1/2" range, I could believe it, but she looks more 190-191cm range, so out of bed more 192-193 seems more likely. Everybody's different but I'm a pretty active person and I drop around 2cm from waking up to sleeping. I mean, I doubt Brenden Fraser is 194 out of bed. Again, maybe Christie is unique and has a long upper body or something. Just speaking for myself, being a similar height never even gain/drop a full inch let alone 1.5.
Sam said on 18/Mar/15
I wonder why she loses 1.5 inches, because most 6'3 men only lose about an inch, if not less, and any more would probably be pretty uncommon. Is the female form not supposed to withstand the same stature without losing so much? 6'4 out of bed wouldn't surprise me, but 6'4.5 is a stretch.
Editor Rob
doesn't user Maximus on here say he goes from 176cm to 173cm or thereabouts, that's 3cm loss, 4cm for a 6ft 3-4 range person doesn't seem impossible.

No height is 'ridiculous', as soon as we start thinking one height is better than another, we start to become Heightist!
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 6/Mar/15
Rob, I just saw you're picture w/h Jason Momoa right next to this one and I see no noticeable difference.

Are you sure that guy is 6ft4?
Editor Rob
well I'm closer to Jason's mouth and around her nose, so I'm not sure how that is equal.

The lense with Gwendoline is slightly different and is more vertically elongating the image at the end of the lense (see the same effect with Lars who looks shorter in person than Momoa).

Oh, I'm sure she's a strong 6ft 3ins here, I just meant that out of bed 6'4 1/2" is a lot more than I would have thought somebody could drop, unless there were extremely tall, as in 7'0" or so. 4 cm is a lot to gain/lose, maybe she's just rounding up a little.....we've all done it! : )
Editor Rob
1.5 isn't impossible. It's a huge amount to lose, but some people have said on here they have lost over an inch, but it's not as common as those who lose around 0.75ish.
John said on 2/Mar/15
She certainly looks 6'3", I'd say. Although her suggestion of losing 1.5 inches throughout the day is hard for me to believe. Everyone is different but at a similar height as a guy I don't think I lose more than maybe 2cm from early morning to late night, and sometimes less depending of the kind of activity I do. I'll have to check that out as an experiment to be sure, does anybody else not drop much?
Editor Rob
this photo won't be at her low height, I think it was roughly 11-11.30, I was up about 6.30 myself.

"I'm 6'3 or 6'4 1/2 depending on when you measure me".losing 1.5"?strongly doubt it,that's more likely for guys like Nairn or O'neal, much taller and much heavier.Though she may lose a full inch.

@alexMahone Its not about my height.I have seen women taller than me.This doesn't mean that I would make those lady less than 6ft3..you are trying to act smart here.Whatever height they have got its their luck..I don't care honestly...it just my opinion on Gwendoline that she is 6ft 2.5.Brother I hope it clears the confusion that you have..
Tunman said on 16/Jan/15
Actually Rob thinks she's in the 6'3 zone so it must be around that.Well knowing that Rob I would have thought more chances for her to be few mms under rather than over the mark but nothing more than 2-3 mms if anything.
AlexMahone said on 15/Jan/15
6'2.5 means 189cm. 188 or 189cm no matter.... The main point is that Christie's height do be under your height. So let it be my friend. :)
kreyzig 6ft 3 said on 15/Jan/15
@alexMahone Please read my post of 8th dec carefully below few comments.I never said 6ft 2.I said she is 6ft 2.5 at her lowest measurement as compared to 6ft 3.Lolz our argument becomes baseless.
AlexMahone said on 11/Jan/15
kreyzig 6ft 3 --> OK, you fully misunderstand me. First, you make a mistake because you're compare is wrong. You said before that the height difference between you and your 5ft 8.5 girlfriend looks similar and that's why Christie is only 6'2. So you compare you and you're girlfriend height and the compared result compares to the other comparison (Rob's picture) is not the best way to take a precise result. For exammple I'm 6'3.25 (191cm) as well and my girlfriend is 5'8 (174cm). I sent hier a photo to Rob and he said I'm probably about 193cm. But my girlfriend wores Converse and I wore almost 3cm boots.
Second, there are ZERO photo evidences that Christie is only 6'2-6'2.5. Brandon Routh is not 6'3, he cheats with his hair only. Routh smaller than The Kid (Height Challange), who is 191-192cm with barefoot. I'm glad that you recognize 1-2cm height difference from a photo but I trust Rob's eyes. He met Christie and Routh personally. Some men can hardly tolerate if a woman taller than he is. If Christie wears high heels I'm a small man. :)) Peace.
Editor Rob
I said at first when I seen gwendoline I thought she might have been more 190, but seeing her a few more times and especially when in the photo room with many people I think she looked to be a proper 6ft 3. I wouldn't put routh less than about 189 range though.
kreyzig 6ft 3 said on 1/Jan/15
@alexmahone I am sorry alexmahone you got me wrong. If she is 6ft 3 then so is brandon routh. Go and check that page. The difference is the same.Only thing she has a very big forehead.I have seen women taller than me so your statement is void. All I am saying is that its not often I see them.Yes if i am around WNBA players, there will be a few of my height and taller than me as well. But in general places like mall, universities, market places it's rare to see a women over 6ft 2in.If you see women over 6ft everyday around you,great..i want to know the name of this place.
AlexMahone said on 23/Dec/14
I'm sorry kreyzig, maybe this is bad news for you but this lady is a genuine 6'3 (191cm). Not 6'2.5-6'2.75, etc. Seems to me you can't imagine or belive that woman can be exist over 6'3. If you see the picture with Rob, Gwen looks more genuine 191cm than other celebs listed on this site.

@littlesue
yeah, but sometimes even genes fail to explain height
One family I know has the following heights
mother 5'3
Father +/-5'7
Daughter 5'8-8.25
Son(at 16)6'1.5
Your sons are quite tall even assuming they got their father average genes.Maybe the reason could be better food quality or that one of you didn't reach his full potential, unlike your sons.
Moke said on 10/Dec/14

kreyzig 6ft 3 said on 8/Dec/14
She may be slightly shorter than 6ft 3. The height difference between me and my 5ft 8.5 girlfriend looks similar to this pic.Since rob is 5ft 8 so 6ft 2.5 makes sense for her.I have rarely seen women taller than me.
littlesue said on 2/Dec/14
Depends on Dad's height too, I'm barely 4ft 11 but my sons are 5ft 9 and 5ft 10, there dDad was 5ft 9 so they followed his average height genes.
176,2Tunman said on 1/Dec/14
Well, actually what is more surprising is when a short person produces a tall or very tall son or girl.
I know a woman who is a strong foot shorter than me aged 65-70,guess what her daughter is around 5'11-11.5 and her grand daughter who is 8 is already taller than her I guess she will end up somewhere between 5'8 and 6',will be interesting to see next 5-6 years.

Parents that height produced a 6 ft 9 girl! A 6'7" father and tallish mother should do it.

her forehead is quite average sized up close. There is some camera distortion towards the ends of the lens.

What would you say her head size is Rob? Also, do tall people generally have larger heads than average height people?
Editor Rob
it's hard to say, in person I would say it looked perfectly normal for her height...although I think this lens the photographer uses can stretch the image at the top a little (similarly with lars mikkelsen who gets a similar extra stretch with the picture).
