i dont have a clue who this guy is but i just saw a scene of him in the movie joker and thought he looked really tall in that scene. I was thinking he was around 6´2. I guess he was in thick shoes and jaquin maybe barefoot?

@tall sam what i found intriguing is that in true detective, even though his character is called the "tall man" he seems to be the shortest of the three followers of carcosa, where reggie is 6ft 5.5 and dewall is 6ft 3, errol is only 6ft 0.5, just thought id get it off my mind after the longest time.

@icecold funnily enough he does play a russian mafia boss in hbo's barry.

He reminds me a lot of Gandolfini. Large, bear-like frame that can make him seem much taller. Even to see 6ft1 on the web is a shock.

This guy certainly fills the screen well, he’s usually a despicable but with an edge of joviality that draws people in (and usually dies gruesomely in almost everything, multiple times IIRC in the show Maniac). I think he tends to seem largely as he’s often cast against fairly short guys.

It’s a plot point that Fleshler monstrous character is the “tall man”, even though the much taller Charles Halford is in the same show (but they share no scenes). Despite being a rather fat guy, he’s a powerful looking guy and nearly single handedly butchers both Matthew McConaughey’s and Woody Harrelson’s characters in the shows climax.
