Burt Bacharach now too, the greatest composer of pop music aside from the Beatles IMO. A genius. I had a strong feeling he didn't have long the other day. 5 ft 8 for Burt I think, should have a page Rob!! Had the look of a 6'1-6'2 debonair type.

Her and Rock Hudson had great chemistry, particularly in Strange Bedfellows, very hard to imagine Rock was gay in that film!! Gina was stunning of course but have heard a lot of negative things about her being a diva and very catty. Sinatra, Bogie and Connery didn't like her, and she was very nasty to Sophia, I was left with the impression that she was a head up her own arse "fit but my gosh don't you know it" type as Mike Skinner would say!

I remember when Gina Lollobrigida appeared on Joan Rivers' late-night talk show Joan was shocked at how tiny Gina was. I think Gina looked the same height as Joan who's listed on this sight as 5'1. It's doubtful Joan would have called tiny to a woman taller than herself.

I think that she was more 5'2 than a full 5'3. i have seen her with other stars and she is clearly shorter than marlyn, shorter than natalie wood, and looking the same size than liz taylor or debbie reynolds. 5'2 as much.

Althoug her upper profile, like Liz Taylor, could give a bigger impression but she was quite short in the leg like Liz so perhaps 5'3" tops. At times she could certainly pull off seeming 5'4-5'5".

Very pretty 5'3". One special moment with Gina: Again,What's My Line? related. She was mystery guest in the fall of 1964. She got a standing clapping ovation and William Schallert guessed her. When WML host John Daly asked The Patty Duke Show daddy how he guessed her,Bill said,"That pantsuit gave it away!" Now true,pantssuits at that time were starting to be worn more by women,but not yet like they are now. It was pretty on 5'3" Gina,soft,and comfortable. But Bill also told Daly he knew Gina was brunette and Italian. And though spotty liking Gina,I,to,found Gina's pantsuit she wore here comfortable.

Her waist was probably measured wearing one of those corsets they wore in the 50', she was probably around 22 naturally and it was pulled into 19. I have a 40 inch bust and a 27 waist and I find it impossible to get any sort of dress to fit me so God know's how a 40 inch bust with a 19 inch waist managed. She must have had everything made to measure!

I always thought she's at least 5'6". Only 5'3"? Interesting. Here in Hungary there was a New Year's Eve TV special back in the 1970s, where Gina was the special celebrity guest. She performed a dance with two Hungarian TV presenters, who were both shorter than her. Both men were around 5'5" and Gina (wearing heels) towered over them. One of them later said, that Gina was a tall woman, and when they planned this dance number, noone expected her to be that tall. If she was only 5'3" why didn't they just ask her to wear flats? Then, she would've been shorter than her dance partners. I'd always though Gina was around 5'6" (and 5'9" in heels).

5ft 5??? no way, I have a photo of her standing face on with Liz Taylor and they have the same 3 inch stilettos and boufant hair and they are identical in height, I would say 5ft 2.5 max.
