I see him as a 184 guy myself, I think if you measured him at lunch he'd come in at 6ft0.5. This 6ft0.25 listing is like absolute low range for him imo, he's not much shorter than Ronaldo,2 cms at the very most and possibly a bit less. I too can't really see a case for Benzema being listed taller than Bale,I think they're very close but my money would be on Bale measuring taller I think.

@Original Honeslty neither of them arent quite full 184cm guys, just over 6 feet fir both of them like 183.5cm for both but specially for Benzema it's impossible who had an earlier day measurement of 184.1cm meaning that he coule be (about) a cm shorter. So solid 6ft for Benzema is perfect, maybe Bale has the slight edge on Benzema tho, but its so little.

Comparing him with other athletes, I believe that 183 cm seems too low for him, while 185 cm could be arguable.

I think Souness said similar about Zidane before too. Described him as 6ft4. Another commentator once described Lewandowski as 6ft4 too lol. I can see why people would guess Bale as being taller than 184 though as his athletic build, broad shoulders etc give the impression of a big guy all round. 6ft2 guesses I could understand but 6ft4 is lunacy.

@metin reis you cannot shrink 4cm. Also you cant shrink 2cm betweeen afternoon and night, maybe couple of millimetres more or then just nothing, it depends but not 2cm. 2cm is morning height-)afternoon/night height. About 2,2cm you lose during the day. He is 185.2-3cm in the morning i guess.

Bales height is strange. He can look 6'1 at times but then in some photos with ramos they look almost the same height. Maybe its his proportions because his body in general looks pretty long and big. Heres a pic of him with Ronaldo and Benzema in their most recent game. I'd say Bale 184 cm Benzema 183 and Ronaldo 185.5-186

Look at this photo - similar to one of the previous posted by you -.
Here Bale seems to be round 1cm taller than Bale. I continue to think Bale edges out Benzema by 0,5-1cm (from all photos I have seen on the net).
IMO Bale is exactly 2cm shorter than Ronaldo and 1,5cm taller than Ramos.

This is only MY opinion but I think Bale is 1.83, Benzema 1.84, Cristiano 1.86 and Ramos 1.82. I think Rob was spot on, Benzema is indeed taller than Bale.

I totally agree with Christian , rob you've got half intervals for feet and inches, why not add half intervals for metres and centre meters, please do this as we're not all American. And I myself could be a perfect example of the confusion. as I measure 184 out of bed and i downgraded myself a quarter inch which is ironic cause most users that miscalculate their height actually inflate themselves a quarter inch.

No single football player or tennis player has its height officially listed in decimals. They are rounded. Anyhow, Bale is listed here as 6' 0.25" (1.84). That's correct, since 6' 0.25" is 183.5, and 183.5 should be rounded up to 1.84 not rounded down to 1.83.

This is how to round a number:

"Leave it the same if the next digit is less than 5 (this is called rounding down)
But increase it by 1 if the next digit is 5 or more (this is called rounding up)"
