I would place Bruno at 6'2.75", he wasn't quite 6'3". Tim Witherspoon had close to an inch on him when they fought in 86' & is listed at 6'3.5" & Lennox Lewis had two inches on Frank, who himself is 6'4.75".

I met Frank on several occasions in the early 2000s, i was around 30 yrs old and 188.2 cm then and he had 3/4-1 inch on me, last time i was standing behind him at Stansted airport, similar footwear and he was definitely taller and with a tiny neck i might add, his shoulders were 2 inches above mine. 6'3 peak, 6'2 3/4 now i reckon, he is fit and lean so i don't think he's lost too much height.

Rob,is his head like 10.25?Surprisingly his eyelevel is quite normal for his height no more than 4.8 but the most impressive part seem between his eyes and mouth it could be close to 4" vs 3-3.25 for the average head

Editor RobHe could have lost height from his peak years, because I did say not too many years ago that he was looking shorter in person...granted though, he has a very big head in person which can throw off an illusion. Definitely when I met him over 10 years ago, right beside him he was over 6ft 2.

I believe Bruno is well below 6ft3 and the pictures show that Selleck and Hasselhoff edge him by a similar margin.

Movieguy, we certainly didn't look at the same pictures. No way he is "similar" to Selleck. The noticeable height difference between Hasselhoff and Bruno is the same as between Selleck and Bruno. I will try to post the pictures but that may take some time.

Not everyone exaggerates their height.

I believe it is natural selection for guys with bigger heads as many of them start out with big heads like Tyson, Ali, Holyfield did if you look at pictures of them when they are young. Many times trainers will look for and encourage kids with these features to become fighters in the hopes that they can train the next great.

What mat said, Jason. As your muscles transform, so do your skeleton and tendons. Your hands can grow quite a lot, both in the length and girth of the bones, by doing physical labor. Swimming can also thicken the spinal plates and expand the ribcage.
You might be done growing vertically by a certain age, but you continue growing structurally for quite a few years (past 25 really), and if you're still growing, you can still affect and enhance that growth.
Try punching a punching bag, hard, every day for several minutes. I guarantee that the skeletal dimensions of your hands will increase over the course of the year.

Of course exercising muscles causes them to grow Cranberries, but it's not going to change the size of your bones or skull. A better explanation for the big heads of boxers/fighters might be swelling from repeated blows. Or maybe there's self-selection for guys who have thick skulls ^^.

Boxers and MMA fighters typically have the largest heads (and jaws) of all athletes. In general, the limbs you use the most will grow the most (exercising makes you structurally larger; it's a physiological fact); perhaps the same applies to heads :P.

WOW weird pic. If Lennox is 195cm then Frank looks 6'1 (185cm) with bad posture. and straightend up 188cm.
Overall compared to lennox looks 6'2 (188cm) in the photo.

It's been said (on here) Lennox is something like 6'4.5 or just a flat 6'4. Either way in this current pics Bruno certainly doesn't look 6'3. Though in the 'Battle of Britain' (Lewis vs Bruno) he looked it.

Should get to see him in a few months, he's doing a show at the theatre I work at, i'll try and get a photo with him. A few other stars should be there too. Over the last couple of years i've met quite a few well known stars, never got a photo with any of them though.

I met Bruno when I was security for him & eastenders at a charity function in 86. He was 6'3". He looks massive on tv but in real life he had wide solid shoulders, but not a very deep chest or big arms, not very solid, very lean. Im 6'1" and was 220 ib.

My mate whos 6'3 or a bit below saw him do some xmas lights near where i live. He said he was 6'1 at the most. Personally i think this is bs but you never know.
