Yes, I knew Emily is tall!

In last week's 'Apropriate Adult', Dominic West didn't tower over her and I remember anyway that she's tall from other things I've seen her in.

So she was in 'Red Dragon' and Dominic West in 'Hannibal Rising', so at least they had a subject to chat about between takes! 😉💐

Rob can you mention Appropriate Adult, the TV film which she won a BAFTA for about the Fred West trial, Hilary and Jackie, Punch-Drunk Love and the The Life and Death of Peter Sellers? She's not a woman I'd typically consider particularly attractive or sexy, a bit frumpy at times really, but my god I was shocked how hot her body looked in Synecdoche, New York. I was really surprised. Looks are deceptive, she's got in going on!

Emma Watson is about 5ft 6in but if anything only a bit shorter and someone said that if i though she was over 5.5 i was delusional. i am not delusional! i just do my research!

surprised how tall she is actually. She's 5'8" and I just thought she'd be at most 5'5". Always makes me happy to see since I'm 6', and the ones I think are tall turn out not to be. Like Sandra Bullock. When I first saw her I thought at least 5'8" not even. Oh, another BIG surprise is Lily Cole (up and coming young actress keep your eyes out for her) from the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. She's 5'10" and I thought maybe 5'7" but actually figured way less, she look so delicate even more so than Emily Watson. Btw, "the Imaginarium..." the best movie I've seen in forever, RIP Heath Ledger

Just watched "The Proposition" and she is definitely taller than her co-star Ray Winstone. Even assuming that she's wearing 1 to 2-inch heels (no more than that, because it's a period film set in old Australia, so no high heels back then), to be taller than 5'9-ish Winstone in his shoes, she has to be at least 5'8"

Definitely deceptively tall. In Red Dragon, She seemed 'fragile' but she was shorter than only the 6 footers. She was taller than the other male actors.

I'd give her 5'7.5-5'7.75, not quite 5'8, she doesn't look 10 cm taller than Renee Zellweger.
