How tall is Eamonn Walker

He is really maybe 6'0.5 he was quite tall in Cadillac Records. It's crazy he may have been 187 pounds before in his youth but every movie I have seen him in he's been 210 to 220 minimum. A guy his height doesn't have that much mass at 187.

Rob are you going to give him the peak height upgrade everyone on his page seems to think he was and you have responded to all these comments saying it’s feasible he was 6ft.

Was about to bring up that Eamonn needs a downgrade but I guess I didn't quite make it. Anyway, I never bought that he was 185 cm to begin with. He was shorter than Dean Winters (a legit 6'0'' AT BEST) in Oz.

He weighs more than 190 but 6'1 is believable he's taller than Michael Jai White whose about 6'. He looked 6'1 220 on this picture.

Walker did look 183 centimeters in Oz, holding his own against the legit 6'1" Adewale Agbaje and other tall actors in the cast. But then again, there are scenes with him standing face to face with Lee Tergesen who claims 5'10"5 and the two seem to stand eye to eye in height. Of course, I'm pretty much convinced that Tergesen stood a little bit taller during Oz years than what he claims now - probably closer to 181 centimeters back then...

I'm watching Oz and I can assure you he is 6ft max.
In the first episode he appears 72 inches on the chart WITH shoes (but I give him 6ft because he looks it with others inmate.)

He was terrific as Kareem Said in OZ. He made an appearance in FX's stellar boxing drama, LIGHTS OUT, this past Tuesday evening. There were several scenes in which he stood face-to-face with 6'2" billed Holt McCallany, and he looked to be about a half inch shorter than Holt. He's a very solid, muscular guy. 6'1" sounds right, but 6'1 1/2" isn't out of the question for him, either.

Also: other posters compared him to his 6'2" billed OZ co-star Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje; in particular, during their faceoff in Season 4. Eamonn always wore thin prison-issue slippers of no more than 0.5" thickness in his role as Said; Adewale's Simon Adebisi either went barefoot or sported thin-soled sandals of about 0.5" thickness. Adewale always looked, to me, to have about 1/2" or a hair more on Eamonn.

Eamon was constantly looking up to people on the show, and I always figured him for only an average sized guy at best. There is one scene where J.K Simmons whos about 5'9-5'10 is standing face to face with Eamon and noticeably. However, its possible that Eamon was wearing big military boots and Eamon wearing no shoes.

Even if it was Big-shoes-to-no-shoes situation, that would still put Eamon around the same height as J.K, or shorter, or marginally taller. Certainly not in the range of 6'1 or 6'2. m

I agree with D.Ray that he always seemed a 5'11 on that show.

You may be right, J. They used a lot of tricky camera angles on that show. But then, I just saw the "Famous Last Words" ep and, for whatever reason, Said actually looked shorter than Beecher!

I remember the scene you're talking about, of course (it's one of the best). I'll have to check it out again.

I wouldn't say that, D. Ray. On Adawele's final episode of OZ, when he and Eammon have their showdown, they're around the same height range. So just about 6'1" seem right for Eamonn.

Is he really this tall? Looked all of 5'11" (maybe) in Oz. He was about the same height as Tergesen, definitely shorter than Akkinouye.

I thought he was taller. Like 6'2". He certainly looks more than 6'1" next to other actors, like Bruce Willis or Christopher Meloni.
