@Junior: Viper has a point. Vincent Jackson measured 6’4.75 combine and 6’4 3/8 at the Senior Bowl that year. Castillo I don’t remember but both guys are clearly taller than Merriman. Even if we say camera angle plays a factor, Castillo still looks as if he’s just as tall worst case

@Christian 6’5 3/8: I would love for someone to meet Kyler Murray and see how tall he actually is. Just as I would like for someone to get another closeup with Merriman. Christian every one thought Andre was 7'4 my dad would actually tell me he was as tall as like 7'6 or something like that but yes before I was height focused I did.

Chris maybe you should get your high school diploma first before touching your parents computer.
We can't even see footwear with Rock and Merriman. Rock could be barefoot for all we know. And it's no more than a 2 cm difference. Even Stevie Wonder can see that.

I would agree with viper in this instance, i find heightloss before 60~ pretty rare..
Haven't noticed any heightloss from someone i've known before that age. And i know many power lifters in their 50s who still hold about the same height.
Usually i would say there's some damage involved if u lose height before 50-60... or noticeable posture change.

Were they athletes though? Athletes and bodybuilders lose height quicker because of the toll on the spine and joints. That said, you're right that the shrinkage arguments are blown out of proportion. I've seen some here say that the Rock lost 2 inches, lol.

To be real and honest and yes I know it sounds ridiculous and Im not trying to start problems or anything but I have looked at the Rock a lot over the years since I was a young kid and I can say with confidence that I truly believe he was 6'4 barefoot and 6'5 in boots/shoes. That's why he switched from time to time between the 2 claims. A legit 6'4 guy can look 6'2 because of bad posture and bent knees and also low footwear. But the fact that Rock was listed at 6'5 in football kinda seals the deal for a min 6'4 peak for me. Even in his latest movie Hobbs and Shaw hes just so big there is no way hes only 6'2 let alone 6'1. As far as 6'5 its his shoe height/morning height so to me its safe to claim as long as you measure it somehow without lifts or platforms 👍

There is a picture of them all together on level ground in the 1970s. If they have lost anything you can't even tell.
The only guy over 70 I know who has lost height has gained 100 pounds and is in terrible, awful shape. He looks way, way older than he is as well.

It’s hard to take someone seriously when they continuously challenge Charles Barkley being 6’4-6’5 and saying he’s really 6’5.5 when he was measured under the 6’5” mark in a sport where height matters and being taller is more beneficial than shorter. Not to mention his teammates coaches and colleagues and opponents all say he’s 6’4-6’5 range. Roman gains a bit by standing taller but its nothing more than a good cm. The eyelevel means little , just look at the top of their heads. I’ve always wondered that about lifts with him because at times he is next to a 195cm guy like Barkley (near 195 cm at his peak) and he looks short but then I’ve seen him with some others and wonder if he is in lifts. But the 186-187 I wouldn’t completely rule out. I always assumed still 6’2” because a friend of mine assumed he was that and also because he still looks taller than Roman Reigns at times or at worst the same height. But to be honest, he also looked shorter than Eddie George who was 6’2.5 lol and that was in the early 2000s

@Johan I agree that Rock wasn't as low as 6'2" flat peak, but as far as his current, he definitely isn't taller than 6'2". I would say he is 6'2" max but probably more 6'1.5"-6'1.75" to be precise.
As for Rock claiming 6'5", lets be real, we are a small community. Most people arent height obsessed and don't pay attention to height in public like we do. A lot of people don't even know the Rock claims 6'5" so they never question it in public.

@Johan I agree that Rock wasn't as low as 6'2" flat peak, but as far as his current, he definitely isn't taller than 6'2". I would say he is 6'2" max but probably more 6'1.5"-6'1.75" to be precise.
As for Rock claiming 6'5", lets be real, we are a small community. Most people arent height obsessed and don't pay attention to height in public like we do. A lot of people don't even know the Rock claims 6'5" so they never question it in public.

@Space: in the pic Barkley has about 3” on him. That’s not 4”. It’s possible that one is favored but Barkley measured 6’4 5/8 in his prime and he’s 56 today so it’s possible he’s not quite that today. But I think 6’4.5 is ok. Rock should be 6’2” still imho if he stood straight

He 100% looked taller then 6'1 with conan. More like 6'2 atleast assuming conan is 6'4 or near.
Don't look at the top of conans hair when u compare the two.
