How about the full 5’10” for DeLuise, Rob?
In fact, in that photo with Reagan, DeLuise could pass for about the same height as Reagan, even accounting for camera angles; 6’1” is ridiculous though for DeLuise overall. Burt Reynolds may have had three inches on DeLuise in The Cannonball Run but Reynolds could even look taller than Roger Moore in that film, thanks to his lifts. DeLuise would have been more or less the same height as Jonathan Winters.

Its very strange that he claimed 6'1. Rob, how tall do you recon his sons are? One is listed as 6'0.5 on the site, the other two look 5'10 and 5'7. There's noticeable difference in their height.

Peter was a fair bit taller than his brothers, maybe near 4 and 5 inches

If he was really 5'9.5" and claimed 6'1", it's one of the biggest non wrestling height fudgings I've noticed, up there with Bob Dylan claiming 5'10". Maybe both guys morning height

well maybe 5ft 10 range is possible for Dom

I agree, Rob. I'd say Burt could look at least 3 inches taller at times and I think Burt got about 3" from his heeled elevator boots a lot of times. Of course, Dom's build didn't help.

Dom could look as tall as Johnny Carson:

Other times he seems shorter because of posture. This listing is plausible since Dom could seem slightly shorter than Rodney Dangerfield, but Rodney could have been over 5'10" in 1974. Dom was also barely shorter than Dean Martin in the appearances I've seen together and if you consider Dean typically has better posture and almost surely thicker shoes, it's not unlikely that Dom, Dean and Johnny Carson could have all been 5'10". It's pretty crazy Dom was described 5'11.5" in an article decades ago since he gives a 5'9" impression to me, but if Carson was really 5'10.5" then that could have possibly been a shoe height for Dom.

in lifts Burt really made Dom look an average guy at best.

Never met Reed.

His heels were massive, in the film gator you can see how out of proportion his legs look. His legs look a couple of inches too long for his body and his heels look like stilt. I'd say 2 1/2" for the heel is accurate.
Frank2, have you ever met Jerry Reed? He's listed at 6'0.5" on every site and from what I remember he was similar in height to Burt in the Smoky and Bandit films even when both were wearing cowboy boots. I don't remember the difference between them in Gator. Maybe Reed's 6'0.5" listings are BS just like Dom's 5'11.5" listings.

I worked on SHAMUS. Reynolds was about 5'10" and wore custom boots with 2 1/2" heels plus at least an inch of lifts inside. That boosted him to 6'1 1/2".

I can't see Burt at any less than 5'11" peak. He looked too tall even considering his massive lifts. Now he looks more in the 5'9", 5'10" range to me.

Dean was 5'10" as was Dom. Burt always wore huge lifts sometimes boosting him by as much as four inches. Barefoot he was about 5'10".
Dom was one of the nicest people in showbiz.

Burt Reynolds had as much as 3 inches on him in the Cannonball Run outtakes. Of course Burt wears lifts, but that told me that the 5'11.5" that Dom is usually listed at had to be BS.
Dom was atleast as tall as Dean Martin who I'd bet was atleast 5'10".

Nobody made a comment. I met him with Farrah Fawcett with her on the ground laughing when I told him to do the Charles Nelson Reilly nervous laugh for her. He's as listed, at least in '83.
