@Ellis 6'8 - yeah? I tend to think Fury would have the advantage in the rematch. Just because he was able to essentially win the first match with a lot of ring rust. But you could certainly see a scenario where Wilder catches him like he can do to anyone. I wouldn't bet cash on that outcome though.

I'd really rather see a Wilder vs Joshua fight happen first personally. That's a fight that's really overdue. It'd be interesting to see how the two would compare height wise, too.
Gman39 said on 26/May/19
@Ellis 6'8: 100% agree on the heights. I think Joshua v. Wilder is a 50/50 fight right now, but I agree that within a year or two I would likely favor Joshua. I expect Wilder to KO Fury in a rematch.
Ellis 6'8 said on 23/May/19
@Gman39: 100%, and when they do fight I think it will be an upset. Wilder is around half an inch taller than Joshua, I have Joshua at 6'5.75, 6'5.5 at a low, and for Wilder 6'6.25, 6'6 at a low. If they keep waiting Joshua will knock him out lol, Joshua is gonna get better, Wilder is at his peak. My personal opinion is that if Wilder rematches Fury he will give him the Stiverne treatment, and he will knock out Joshua within 6 rounds. Joshua is a phenomenal boxer, but Wilders power is undeniable.
Gman39 said on 21/May/19
My impression overall is that Breazeale was the taller guy, edged Wilder by say 1/2 inch. They could look a full inch at times, and at times about the same. If Breazeale really is 6'6.5 then that makes 6'6 flat a possibility for Wilder. I think I remember there being a solid inch between Breazeale and Joshua, but I will have to go back and look at a few of their stare downs. I think that when Wilder and Joshua eventually face-off it will be very close height wise, but I do expect Wilder to edge him.

Obviously Breazeale is taller, but strangely they are being billed the other way round in the fight.

Wilder was given as 6'7'' and Breazeale 6'6.5'' in tale of the tape for last night's fight, previously both had been given as 6'7''. Initially looking at the video below posted by Mickie I thought Wilder was slightly shorter. However Breazeale has more hair and Wilder's eye level looks slightly higher. I'm not sure who is taller but I know who hits harder lol. Wilder is a massive puncher.

@Mickie: 6’6.25 is the most I could see for Melo. 6’6” is the worst case. As for Wilder, that’s possible. I think 6’6.5 morning height 6’6” at a low
Mickie said on 2/Apr/19
I could see Wilder 6'6.25" (which would be about the same as Carmelo, maybe it's just the photo that makes Carmelo look taller) and Vitali being 6'6 5/8" - 6'6.75". Vitali did hold up well next to Lamar Odom, I think he looked about 6'7" or at least 6'6.75".
Canson said on 30/Mar/19
@Mickie: it’s possible that the pic with Carmelo Anthony is favoring Anthony. Anthony looks taller than Wilder and he’s 6’6” himself. I could go as high as something like 6’6 5/8 and 6’6” for Wilder and Klitschko respectively but 6’6.5 isn’t a complete surprise especially being he only had about 1.5 on Wlad. Wlad admitted that he’s 6’6 out of bed 6’5 in the evening so it’s possible he comes down around that mark or slightly above it like 6’5 1/8
Canson said on 29/Mar/19
@Reece: wilder doesn’t look over 6’6” and Vitali is legitimately taller. He is close to 6’7” at a low. To be honest Carmelo looks taller than him and Melo is only around 6’6 or 6’6.25 in person

Mickie said on 28/Mar/19
I just can't see Vitali being more than a half inch taller than Wilder based on how they looked together. A half inch is still believable to me, but I can't see how there can be a bigger gap than that. If Wilder is a flat 6'6" I'm putting Vitali at 6'6.5" no higher. Personally I think Vitali would measure 6'6.75", and Wilder maybe something like 6'6.25" - 6'6 3/8".
Reece said on 28/Mar/19
@Canson.
Vitali is taller than Wilder but he wears dresser shoes to Wilder wearing trainers. I can see 6 foot 6 1/4 for Wilder.
Canson said on 27/Mar/19
@JD1996: I would guess 6’6 for Wilder, 6’6.75 for Klitschko 6’7.25 for Fury. Wilder looks around 3cm shorter than Fury in some pics and he can look the same height as other 6’6” listed boxers. Just as he looked a hair shorter possibly due to camera angle next to Carmelo Anthony who looked 6’6 or probably a hair over the mark. 198-199 is fair game for Melo like he is listed
movieguy12 said on 26/Mar/19
This guy only weighs just over 220 lbs which is really light for a modern heavyweight particularly one who is 6'7'' or thereabouts. He'd give away 30 maybe 40lbs in fights with Joshua or Fury. Yet Wilder may be the hardest puncher out of the three. Also he doesn't look skinny which you might expect from his weight and height but gives a 'big' impression. Tony Bellew was apparently thinking of fighting him as he weighed about the same as Wilder at one point, so in theory should be about the same size even if they have different builds. This changed when Bellew saw Wilder up close, he was shocked at how big he was and wisely abandoned any plans to fight him. I'd love Joshua, Fury and Wilder to all fight each other as it's hard to guess who will come out on top. Fury and Wilder had an incredible fight last year.
JD1996 said on 26/Mar/19
In my opinion and from what I've seen I think wilder a flat/solid 6'6" and vitali is a little taller for sure like 6'6.75"-6'7" zone
Canson said on 25/Mar/19
@Reece: I think Vitali legitimately has a height advantage on Wilder. It’s not just footwear. Just like Carmelo Anthony edges out Wilder in the pic (appears to at least) and Melo is right around 6’6-6’6.25 in person. Wilder is likely around the same height as Melo. Not 6’6.5 he’s probably a solid 6’6”
Reece said on 23/Mar/19
Vitali was most likely wearing dresser shoes which gave him a slight footwear advantage probably.25 of a inch . If Vitali is 6-6 3/4 200cm then Wilder is probably like 6-6 1/2 199.5cm.
Mickie said on 22/Mar/19
The only thing is, it's hard to explain a 6'6" flat Wilder with V Klitschko: Click Here

They looked the same height there (granted we can't see the footwear). Vitali is somewhere in the 6'6.5" - 6'6.75" range, I think it'd be hard to argue less.

I wonder about 6'6.25" for Wilder, but I given how he's held up with Vitali I have trouble going lower.
Gman39 said on 21/Mar/19
Dominic Breazeale, Wilder's next opponent is listed as 6'7. The height difference between Breazeale and Wilder looks exactly like what Fury looked with Wilder 1.0 - 1.5 inch difference.
Crane said on 15/Mar/19
He was showed to be 6'6 in the Fury fight. Not because Fury was 6'7.5 but because Wilder looked exactly to be 6'6 and Fury was listed at 6'7, when Fury was first making his Boxing debut. There's the 1 inch height gap between Wilder and Fury and Fury was listed 6'7 when making his debut and that's what make Wilder a 6'6.

@184guy: if Melo does edge him I doubt it’s by as much as the picture suggests. Both 6’6” range more than likely and that’s a good point about footwear

At least 1.5 in difference and sometimes it can appears as 2.

Mickie said on 4/Dec/18
It was a great fight between one of the greatest boxers in Fury and one of the greatest punchers in Wilder. Fury should've won the decision, but Wilder showed why he's a world class fighter - still carrying massive knockout power into the 12th round which is insane. I think Fury did wobble Wilder in that round as well actually, but Wilder has a great chin.

In terms of height, I thought it was apparent that the difference was greater than Rob currently has it listed - which was a bit surprising. If Wilder is 6'6.5" I could believe 6'8" for Fury.
Ellis said on 4/Dec/18
@Jordan87: Yeah, Fury definitely won the fight, also people don't take into account that in the 12th round Fury actually got up re-energized. I think Fury made a good case for winning the twelfth besides the knockdown that made it very convincing he was out, he was catching Wilder once again and hitting him hard. I have much respect for Wilder, he was tanking a lot of punches in that fight. Many people may say that Fury is not a strong puncher, but once you are connecting as much as Fury was, anyone is gonna feel it. There was a lot of times also when Fury was punching through Wilders defenses, made him look very wobbly and vulnerable at times. I'm gonna say it, Tyson Fury might just be the greatest heavyweight on the planet, and Wilder is either second or third.
Johno said on 4/Dec/18
Yeah, the difference between them looked noticeable in the ring, i think Fury's reached helped him alot; honestly, he really made Wilder look shoddy. It is pretty ironic that with Wilder being the lighter guy, he gassed more quickly and looked out of it at times whereas Fury always looked like he had plenty of energy, even after the knockdowns, he finished stronger in them rounds. If i were part of the Wilder team, i would much rather face Joshua now as opposed to Fury, Fury is much too dangerous and he should of been awarded that win.

1-1.5 inches between them.
Ellis said on 3/Dec/18
Great fight last Saturday! I gotta say in the ring Tyson looked noticeably taller, not to the point were it was like 3 inches, but he was definitely taller, at times I felt sold on his 6'9 claim(taking into account the average boxers height inflation is about an inch). I'd say Fury is 1.5 inches taller than Wilder. If Wilder is 6'6.5, then Fury is 6'8. I think it goes like this,
Wilder: A little above 6'6
Fury: 6'7.5
Josh: 6'5.5
Canson said on 27/Nov/18
@Mickie: he could still look about 199ish today. I was really surprised at how short Dennis Scott is. Scott was listed 6’8” but is really only about 6’5-6’6 in pics and he’s shorter than Wilkins by a bit
Robbe said on 10/Nov/18
Newest staredown. Both men seems to have about the same eyelevel, but Fury has bigger forehead. I can see at least 1cm difference there Click Here
Robbe said on 9/Nov/18

Mickie said on 4/Nov/18
I wonder how tall Wilkins is today? He's only 58, so if he was 6'6.5" at his peak I wouldn't be surprised if he'd measure 6'6" now. Wilder does look slightly taller of the two guys. Personally I think Wilder is 199 - 200 cm range.
Canson said on 4/Nov/18
@Robbe: I think a peak Wilkins was similar with Rodman. May still he today. I had him as 199 range peak and 198-199 perhaps today. In that picture, Pippen isn’t standing straight. I would have Scottie as being the taller of the two

@ U I Oakafor - I mean, you just have to look at them in roughly equal footwear in NYC standing their tallest in a facepff to know Fury has got to be about an inch taller. Not 2" like the billing says, but still about an inch. It could be fractionally be above or below that.

As for who wins their fight, I don't have much of an opinion. I'm not a boxing guru, just a casual fan. Vegas favors Wilder, and I tend to think they're as good as anyone predicting odds. Personally I think of Fury a few years ago would've won, but a few years ago hardly matters anymore.
U I Okafor said on 13/Oct/18
@Mickie

He says he says taller so he can sell the fight. Quite a few people in the boxing community are very aware that Fury is 6'7 and have said as much. I have no idea why people insist on disputing it, he barely has an inch on Wilder and thats mostly down to him having a bigger head. The size difference is negligible and its bizarre someone can dispute it unless there is a vested interest in saying so. Lemme guess, you think Tyson is gonna beat him too yeah?
Mickie said on 6/Oct/18
I don't know why Robbe always thinks that Fury's shoes are thick (even when they're just loafers) and Wilder's shoes are always super flat (even when they're pretty normal).

Tyson is obviously the taller man when standing tall, which he doesn't do as often as he could. Meaning - he's the kind of guy that would measure a bit taller than he walks around. Wilder doesn't despute Tyson's 6'9" claim, more evidence of at least an inch gap being between them.

Once again, Tyson has shoe advantage in Gman39,s video. Im still sticking to my estimation, 201cm for Fury, and 200cm for Wilder.
Mickie said on 4/Oct/18
It's funny how people can go on about them being the same height when we saw Wilder and Fury standing at their tallest both in similarly low heeled shoes with the camera at a nuetral angle at the New York presser. Fury was quite obviously taller. Any attempt to claim otherwise is dishonest. Wilder himself says Fury is taller than him.
Gman39 said on 3/Oct/18

Height is a funny thing. On some days you look taller and others you're shorter. I think wilder and fury are pretty close in height and it's not really debatable that they're not.
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 3/Oct/18
It's no surprise why Rob initially listed both Wilder and Fury as 6'7" when he first added them on the site. Goes to show you that they aren't that much different in height.
Mickie said on 3/Oct/18
As I posted on Fury's page - 9:22 is the money shot. Both men standing at full height: Click Here

Fury is standing 3 cm taller than Wilder. Each has a fairly low cut type of shoe on, neither would have more than a quarter inch advantage over the other imho.

Rob's listings for each fighter are pretty good.
Robbe said on 3/Oct/18
Lol, Fury looks like 5-6cm taller in Mickeys video, which cant be the case. Just check the whole pressvideo. Notice how Fury is looking up when he speaks to Wilder at 29:00 and onvards, that's because Wilder has higher eyelevel than Fury. But Fury has bigger forehead, so they come very close in heights. In 2018: fury wears boxing shoes and wilder doesn’t wilder is a good inch taller
And In press conference fury is shorter

No Way is Tyson more than an 1" taller than Wilder in their most recent staredowns. Fury was listed once at 6'7. ( He isn't taller). Wilder is described as 6'6.5" and is not taller than that.

Fury is slightly taller and is a better boxer. Wilder has more power. This could be a good fight.
Canson said on 27/Aug/18
@184guy: I think Wlad is prob something like 6’5.25 at a low (196-196.5 range). For Wilder, it’s hard to say where I would place him. While he did measure 6’6.5 at one point, that may have been an earlier measurement. Unfortunately, the picture with Carmelo Anthony wasn’t a good one as Melo appeared taller but likely had camera advantage as well. I can say however that Melo is 6’6” in person maybe 6’6.25 tops. He looked closer to 6’6” than 6’7 in person. 6’6.25 may be his low or he could dip to a flat 6’6” but he didn’t look anything under that mark imho
184guy2 said on 23/Aug/18
Haha 2 inches ? No way
Barely 2 cm , probably half inch . Deontay is a lot closer to 6'7 than 6'6 like some suggest and again, Fury is not 6'8 , let alone 6'9 . The maximum he could be is the actual listing. He was visible shorter than Price , and also looked shorter than Wlad (in trainers with lifts) in some staredown . He is at most 2 inches taller than Wlad , who could be 196-197cm . Deontay could be anywhere in the 6'6.5-6'7 range. He was identical in height with Vitali .
Robbe said on 20/Aug/18
@Lanky, Tyson is actually standing very tall in staredowns, and often also tip toeing, trying to look as big as possible. He was tiptoeing with Wilder also. He is tip toeing in many pictures as well, with Wlad, with Wach, and with many others. Funny thing is, he also tiptoed with Sefer Seferi, who is around 180cm :D
Mickie said on 19/Aug/18
@Robbe - Tyson had 2" over Wilder when he came in the ring after Wilder's match. Yes there was a footwear advantage involved, but he had Wilder by 2" when he stood upright.
Lanky said on 19/Aug/18
I think we have to remember how poor Fury’s posture tends to be, too. On the rare occasion he stands straight, and holds himself well, I struggle to believe he doesn’t touch 6’8”. I can believe a strong 6’6” for Wilder.
Elohel said on 19/Aug/18
As I suspected, more underlisting being done by the fanboys. Fury has never looked anything resembling two inches taller than wilder. And last night proved that the height difference between them is negligible at best. Either Fury is being overlisted or Wilder is being underlisted. Hell, its probably both.
Robbe said on 19/Aug/18
@Mickie, Wilder is wearing flat sneakers in the latest staredown with Tyson. So he has only slight shoe advantage there, maybe 1cm, at the most. Tyson was wearing high healed dress shoes when he edged out Wilder. The difference was definitely not 2in, moore like 1in.

So, if Wilder is as listed, Tyson is no moore than 6'7. But then again, if Wilder is a legit 6'7 as many tends to believe, then Tyson is easily as listed.

Gman39 appeared to be right about the footwear making a difference. Tyson looked 2 inches taller than Wilder in the ring when Wilder was boxing, but appeared maybe a hair shorter when Fury was boxing. In reality, this means Fury is probably about an inch taller than Wilder if both are in equal footwear but not more than that.
Gman39 said on 6/Aug/18
Fury had shoe advantage in the ring with Wilder. Boxing shoes have very thin soles, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I'll be surprised if Fury is anything more 1 ich taller than Wilder when they finally face off.
Mickie said on 6/Aug/18
Wilder is basically as listed. The photos with Carmelo - they're not ideal for telling his exact height, but they do strongly suggest against any notion that he's above 2 meters, even if he's at a disadvantage in the picture. Wilder was noticeably taller than Wladimir, and very similar in height with Vitali (who is more like 6'65" - 6'6.75" than the full 6'7"). Wilder was noticeably shorter than Tyson Fury, although the exact differential was hard to tell. Rob has Fury at 6'7.5". Fury's most recent billing was 6'8.75", which would seem to be a possible shoe height or morning height (in the best case for Fury). So again, thinking Wilder is anything above 6'6.5" isn't supported by his Fury stare down.
movieguy12 said on 1/Aug/18
Wilder and Vitali look exactly the same height as someone has posted. Both are genuine 6'7'' guys I believe. Wilder is very lean. Weighs 2 stone less than Joshua although an inch taller. The politics behind the Wilder Joshua fight is rubbish. The best fighters avoiding each other with their scheming promoters has helped to push boxing out of the mainstream of sports.
Canson said on 2/Jul/18
@184guy: very true about the pic. My guess would be 196ish for Wlad
Reece said on 2/Jul/18
Wilder height shows well on that vid. Shows Fury is at least 1 inch taller so less than 6-7.5 202cm is hard to believe for him. I thought 6-6.5 199.5 cm is a good guess for Wilder.
184guy2 said on 2/Jul/18

I don't think Wilder is just 2cms taller than Wlad, More like 3 and his pic with Carmelo is not good at all to judge.

@Robbie: I would say Vitali is taller. I could see Wilder being a morning 6’6.5 or close to it (6’6.25-.5 AM) and dipping to about 6’6”. He’s no taller than Melo if even. Vitali yea I can see 6’6.5 at a low
Robbe said on 26/Jun/18

Canson said on 4/Mar/18
Overlisted. He’s not as tall as Carmelo Anthony I doubt and if he is it means he’s 198-199. 6’6.5 is possible maybe an hour or so after waking but he’s 6’6” flat maybe 6’6.25 at his lowest
Canson said on 17/Feb/18
I think the 6’7” is rounded up. He may be that out of bed or near it and may dip down to 6’6” flat at night. Likely the 6’6.5 is somewhere in between during the morning as most athletes are measured earlier in the day some even get their shoe heights listed. He could very well only be 6’6 7/8 out of bed and 6’6.5 an hour on his feet or could’ve even been 6’6.75 and gotten 6’6 3/8 and been rounded up. Next to Carmelo Anthony he doesn’t look 6’6.5. Melo is favored but I think at best they’d be about the same or Melo could edge him still by a cm making him a potential 6’5 7/8 or 6’6 at a low
Jordan87 said on 16/Feb/18
@ Reece,

Yes Ortiz comes in at very good angles for heavyweight of his size. Ortiz should on paper at least provide a much better opponent to Wilder than Stiverne did ( Good Christ was that second fight a Butchering).

Correct, Wilder certainly has Power I will give him that.Very long arms too.
Reece said on 15/Feb/18
Wilder is very fast and has lots of stamina. His power is scary. He is not as technically skilled as other greats like the Kiltschko Brothers,Lewis. I think Wilder will stop Ortiz in the middle Rounds. Ortiz is dangerous though as you said.

Wilder has the build of Floyd Mayweather except is nearly a foot taller. Throws wild punches from odd angles, but thus has been effective. I think if Mr. Ortiz catches him though he will be in a world of trouble.

@Kiwi lad: I think he would still be a full 6’6” in the evening worst case but it’s possible he and Melo could be the same height. I know when I met Melo he looked roughly 2” taller than me. People around us said 1.5-2” but I’ll say he’s for sure not under 6’6 (probably not even quite that low) and likely isn’t much higher than 6’6.25. Maybe 199 is a possibility since it’s so close but I doubt he is 6’6.5 or anything above that as a low. It to me looked “about” 5cm (I’m anywhere 193.7-.9 so he could be maybe and 198.5-199 could be on the money)

Wilder is definitely taller than Harrison. Here Wilder barefoot, and Harrison in shoes Click Here

So they are the same height, when Harrison is wearing shoes, while Wilder is barefoot. My guess is Wilder is 199cm, and Harrison 197cm.

However... This image would indicate that Wilder is actually taller than Harrison. Perhaps they are actually virtually the same, and footwear differences alter things drastically.

198-197cm for both ??

What does that make Lewis these days? 6'3 ? ( He was 50 at the time of this picture, and looks in relatively good shape still) Makes me think he was closer to 6'4 flat in his prime.

@Canson: Yea I have taken into account that Melo is slightly in front of the camera. If deontay moved forward to Melo's level I could still see Melo edging him by about a cm. Wilder could be a morning 6'6.5 and dip below 6'6 later in the day.
Canson said on 4/Feb/18
@Kiwi Lad: Melo had a camera advantage too. My thinking is Wilder could be a legit 6’6” guy still and been 6’6.5 in the morning

Of course it matters. On Celebheights we estimate celebs based on their barefoot height. Wilder's height in boots is irrelevant.
Will said on 14/Jan/18
Barefoot height doesn’t matter. The height that matters is the height while wearing boxing boots since that’s what he performs in. I’d say probably 6’6.25” when he’s standing in the ring at night with boxing boots on.

Tyson Fury 6-8 203cm
Deontay Wilder- 6-6 1/2- 6-6 3/4 199-200cm
Wladimir Kiltschko- 6-5 1/2-6-5 3/4 197-197.5cm
Canson said on 19/Nov/17
@Exorcist: agreed. I can’t see Deontay taller than 6’6.25 Melo. Melo is slightly favored in the pic imho but I’ll say they’re prob close in height nor can we see their footwear there in the pic below but fury and wlad look the heights you have for them. Deontay 1” on Wlad, Fury 1” on Deontay. 6’6 1/2 for Deontay could just be an earlier measurement in the day and him dipping to Where Melo is is very reasonable in the afternoon as Melo actually looks his draft height in person compared to other NBA players

Taller than Wlad, shorter than Fury.

Tyson Fury: 6'7.25"
Deontay Wilder: 6'6.5"
Wladimir Klitschkho: 6'5.25"

Deontay would be at his rock-bottom low after a boxing match. Fury was probably in a decent dress shoe - considerable footwear advantage over Wilder's boxing shoes.

Do you think anyone on this site takes your sorry a$$ seriously when you say you felt short at 6’2? If you were ever even that tall? And you’re seriously challenging me about 1/4” when rob has him listed at 6’6.5? And my basis comes from a pic with Carmelo Anthony. So what do you want me to inflate Carmelo’s height just to make Wilder taller? I think the assessment on Wilder’s height is more than generous considering i took into account he isn’t standing straight otherwise i would’ve probably said he’s 6’5 range. Think before you attempt to insult someone. Especially someone who has no room whatsoever to critique someone else after all of your comments over the years

I watched again the video where Fury climbs into the ring, and the difference is actually less than an inch. This is definitely the best shot to estimate their heights, both men standing tall, no bad camera angles.

When they start to shout eatchother, its hard to see the difference, cause they are bending down and moving sideways. Remember also that Fury has footwear advantage there. Im not surprised if Fury really is no moore than 201cm.
Ollie said on 10/Apr/17
Have you not seen Fury and Wilder pictures. they met in 2013 and Fury looked 4-5cm taller. in the Ring with a heel advantage though Fury was a couple inches taller. I am Confused how you have Wilder and Fury only 0.25 inches apart. even if Wilder is 6-6.5 like i think then their is still more than 0.5-0.75. Rob i think u need to look at more pictures of Fury and Wilder Tyson Fury is listed too low. Wilder is 199cm and Fury can look a good 4-5cm taller. And if Wilder is somehow 6-7 which i think not Fury should be put in the 6-8 range. just look at him with David Price who is a massive guy himself certainly not under 6-8 1/2 and likely the full 6-9 he only looks a bit shorter like 0.25-0.5 inch not a full inch.
Editor Rob
given that Wilder was being called 6ft 6.5 a few years ago, I think it is probably reasonable to say he has rounded to 6ft 7.
Reece said on 8/Apr/17
even if Wilder 6-6.5 then i doubt Fury is 6-7 or 6-7.25. Fury would probably be at least 4cm taller. Fury looked a couple inches taller in the ring but he did have a footwear advantage of half a inch probably. in another meet up in 2013 Fury looked a couple inches taller too.seems to be more than 0.5 or 0.75 taller than Wilder.
Cvgo said on 5/Apr/17

Robbe said on 1/Apr/17
@Reece, pictures you posted are terrible angles lol Wilder looks 4in taller than Lewis and 5in taller than Arreola. Cmon man..

The last picture i posted Wilder vs Kelvin Price is perhaps the best picture to judge their heights. Both men standing tall, face to face. No bad camera angles. To me Price looks taller. Once again, the camera angle on stair down (in the match) favours Wilder. Im surprised you seem not to pay any tension on camera angles when you post these links?
Canson said on 1/Apr/17
@Reece: I respect your opinion. However I have a strong feeling that if Wilder were "clearly" taller in the picture than Carmelo that you wouldn't be saying "we can't see the footwear" in that comparison. It's only because Wilder is shorter than Melo. Christian said it perfectly below. Melo is the same height with Gronk and Wilder is the same at best with them. They are all 6'6" guys at best strong 6'6". Remember that "most" athletes are A. Measured in the morning B. When they measure they throw a fraction on them as well. I know this much having played college ball and having former players I played with in both that level and AAU go pro. Of course there is the exception to that in many cases but it is something to remember
Reece said on 1/Apr/17
Camerlo Antony pic we dont know who has more in footwear plus in that pic Wilder look shorter but why not post the vast majority he looks 199cm and even 6-7 their are lots of then. same with Tyson Fury. you guys do a good job of cherrypicking to prove Wilder is 6,5.5 and 6-6 and Fury is just 6-7.Click Here Wilder towering over Lennox Lewis.Click Here Chris Arreola who is 6-3.5 and Wilder towers over him.Wilder clearly looking taller than Washington who is 6 foot 6.Wilder looks a easy 6-7 and the vast majority of pictures.

Wilder was a inch taller. Wilder is much taller than Lennox in Pictures. So now you say Wilder is shorter than 6-6.Click Here 4.13 Wilder is a inch taller when both stand straight and was the taller man.I believe Fury if he says he is 6-9 he is that in the morning and later in the day he would drop to 6-8. Downgrading by two inches gains nothing but if it makes you feel better its fine. Wilder shorter than 6-6, Fury 6-7. Wilder is listed 6-7 and Fury 6-9 for a reason they must have measured that at somepoint. Wilder is not max 198 he is max 199cm and he is taller than price all u need to do is look at the Stare down.Wilder is more than a inch and a half taller than Lennox he looks more 2.5 taller than Lennox.

Wilder wasnt an inch taller than Kelvin in their fight. Kelvins boxing style is quite funny, his legs are spread wide open when he fights, so he looks shorter than he is. And all the pictures i have seen, Kelvin is taller than Wilder. Including the pictures you have posted. Kelvins head is tilted down, and he is still hair taller than Wilder. Wilder is max 198cm.
Paul said on 31/Mar/17
@Reece. how tall do you think Fury is? he looked near identical with David Price
Reece said on 31/Mar/17
What about Wilder looking clearly taller than Lennox Lewis or him looking much taller than Washington and Nicolas Furtha? Their are loads of pictures of Wilder looking 6-7? Well I guess we all have our own opinions. All you need to do is look a Fury tower of 195-196cm Charles Martin and see him keep towering over tall guys like his Cousin Hughie who some people keep calling 6-4 to figure he can't just be 6-7. Vitali Kiltschko is the best example of a 6-7 and Fury is obviously taller than him a Fury was near him after he beat Wlad.
Reece said on 31/Mar/17
Wilder was a inch taller in their fight Kevin was listed as 6-6. So one picture of Wilder looking shorter means he is 6-6. When in most pictures he looks a strong strong 6-6 or even 6-7. Every boxer seems to lieing. As for Fury being 6-7 that is pure downgrading.Their is more chance he is 6-9 than 6-7 by far.
Robbe said on 31/Mar/17
Wilder is definitely shorter than Kelvin Price Click Here

Im not sure how tall Kelvin Price really is, he is listed both 6'6 and 6'7. Anyway, Wilder is not 6'7, that's plain obvious. If Kelvin Prise is 6'6", then what is Wilder?

There are many pictures of Wilder and Fury together, but its really hard to say how much taller Fury is due to bad camera angles. In the ring difference looked around 3-4cm, but Fury had heel advantage. In my opinion Fury is max 3cm taller than Wilder, so that makes Fury 202cm. But if Wilder is 198cm, like i think, Fury is no moore than 201cm.
Canson said on 30/Mar/17
I agree with you Christian. He is over listed. Maybe he's a full 6'6" but wouldn't surprise me if he's 6'5.5 or 197-197.5 tops. That would make him 6'7" in shoes. But here on this site it's well he claimed 6'7" so so and so must be 6'8" since he's taller.
Canson said on 30/Mar/17
@Reece: yes not everyone upgrades but many do. I believe Wilder is Tho. He was shorter than Carmelo Anthony was or at most his height. Melo is a full 6'6" maybe 6'6.25 I'd say somewhere in the middle. Fury i don't know but I trust Rob. I don't go off what other "supposed" 6'7s are listed. I can look at him next to Wlad who is honest about his height and claims 6'5" because he knows he is
Reece said on 30/Mar/17
i meant taller than Vitali not Tyson lol
Reece said on 29/Mar/17
@Canson.Well it is a downgrade. not every boxer lies about their height but some could do. Fury is taller than 6-7 guys so he cannot be just 6,7.25. and if he is taller than 6-7.5 Ustinov who himself is taller than Tyson Fury then he cannot be just 6-7.25.Upgrade is what Fury likely should be.
Canson said on 28/Mar/17

Canson said on 27/Mar/17
@Robbe: agree and I've met Carmelo Anthony. I'm 194cm (more precisely 193.9 normal low) and he's at absolute most 2" taller and it's actually more 1.5-2". I'd say he's nothing below 6'6" and no more than 6'6.25
Robbe said on 27/Mar/17
Carmelo is not standing properly there either, like said. Audley Harrison looks like an inch shorter than Joshua, who is probably 197,5cm. So that makes Harrison 195cm Click Here On the other hand, Harrison was pretty much the same height as Wilder in the weight in Click Here which was quite surprising. There are many pictures of these men in the net, sometimes Harrison looks taller, Sometimes Wilder.

In the fight i couldn't notice any difference between these fighters. Both looked the same height. It would be interesting to see Joshua and Wilder face to face. They are probably pretty much the same height.
Reece said on 26/Mar/17
Keyed pic Wilder is leaning on the guy so he is not standing up straight. Wilder was taller than Audley Harrison who looks like a really strong 6-5 or 6-6. Harrison did not look under 6-6 with Haye. Wilder 6'6.5 to 6-7. Showtime had Wilder as 6'6.5 that seems accurate. Wilder is a good bit taller than Lennox Lewis he looked the full 6-7 with Lennox. Just because Wilder looks a bit shorter in one pic doesn't mean he is not 6-6.5 or 6-7. People love downgrading on this site. Especially to Tyson Fury and AJ

Wilder has better in Ring Movement than Fury although I'm not sure I think it would be a tough fight. As far as Fury's physique goes he looks like a slob but sometimes that could be misleading.

Fury Is a bit taller than Wilder, and Wladimir obviously has something in his head about his height, b/c he does where lifts of some sort. Weird. If I were Wlad I would be more insecure about my age, then my height. Wlad is getting old, and the Young Buck Joshua is going to thrash him in a few rounds. Young beats Old most of the time, especially in combat sports.
Danu said on 26/Feb/17
Rob,how do u have Fury,Wilder and Vitali the same height? Fury was a couple inches taller than Wilder when he jumped in the Ring to call him out. he did have half a inch edge footwear. i would Fury as 6,8.5 or the full 6,9 that should probably be the real debate. Wilder is 6,7 for sure he was taller than 6,6 guy and yesterdays Fight. Click Here 1.29.42 to be exact you can see Fury is talller than 6,6 billed Wlad and Hughie. and you can see he is taller than 6,5 billed Lennox Lewis and 6,7 billed V Kiltschko.look over a Vitali then back at Fury. they both cant be 6,7 guys if Fury is taller. Fury is a legit 6,8.5-6,9 guy.Wlad has made every body think Fury is 6,7 due to his Lifts making him appear 6,8-6,9 tall in press confrences 2-3 inches extra. thats likely why Wlad always wears dresser shoes,so he can fit lifts in his shoes.Wilder looks to be 6,7 and so does Vitali but based on the evidence i just posed i think Fury should be upgraded to at VERY Least 6,8 that is the lowest even though he looks taller than that to me.

Ok fair enough Reece, I haven't studied it too much will have to check out more, Will Be Interesting if these guys fight each other though, Tyson Fury is down as 6'7.25 on here though I also think he is being a tad underlisted, face to face shots at press conferences mean nothing when you have Wlad wearing lifts in his shoes, people get skewed estimates basing everything off of those type of things.
Reece said on 10/Feb/17
anon I counter that. 6'7 is still too short. Wilder is 6'7 and he looks it. Fury is at least 4cm taller than Wilder in their 2013 face off he had 1.5 inches on him. He had 2 inches when he jumped in the Ring Jan 2016 but he had half a inch in footwear. Hughie is af least in the 6,5 range and is slightly taller than Lennox. Fury is 6'8.5. If Fury is 6'7 then Wilder is 6'5.5 and Wlad is 6'4 still too low. 203cm at least. And if Fury is 6'6.5 then Wlad is 6'3.5 and Wilder 6'5. See how deluded that looks.

There is not much chance Tyson Fury being anything under 6'7 That just seems too low from Looking at him, Id give Wilder 6'6.5

Hughie Fury is interesting, He can Look 6'4 range he not 6'6, Be Interested to see him face to face with His next opponent 6'4 listed Joseph Parker, Parker could be close to 6'4 also looking at some pics with Wladimir Klitscko.

Am I the only one who thought he was a dwarf in the picture? Haha. In the picture he gave me the impression of being 5' 4" or 5' 5" at most.

Fury 6,6? this has to be joke. Fury is not under 6,8and any who thinks so has no idea about height and is deluded. Fury is at least 1.5 inches taller than Wilder and Wilder is not under 6,7. Fury also is much taller than Hugie Fury who is nothing less than 6,5.5 and Claims 6,6.

Finally....! But I think this guy drops under 200 cm around midday or so. 199, 6'6.5. Yeah, he's definitely no Vasyl Lomachenko, but he has tremendous reach and power and fights pretty akwardly, and isn't the slowest aswell.

6ft 6.5 is an arguable listing.

@Josh Jeffords. He's a dreadful boxer. Just hits extremely hard. Fury would out-box him with ease.

Amazing boxer not seen him really tagged but looks tall and rangey.
Anything over 6 5 is dubious especially at that weight.
He needs to smash tyson fury and Russian and then can claim anything he wants.

Jordan87 Lennox Lewis is 6'3 1/2? Amazing since he was measured barefooted at 6'4 3/4. If Lewis was 6'3 1/2 then he would only be 1/2 inch taller than guys like Foreman who was measured at 6'3 230 at a 19 year older. Lewis is clearly almost 2 inches taller than Foreman.

Joshua is 6'6, Wlad is basically 6'6

Fury 6'6.25? What are you smoking? He towered over Klitschko (in the ring, not at the conferences when Klitschko wore lifts), towers over his cousin Hughie, Nicolai Firtha... All of whom are 6'6''.

Wilder looks a good 6'7''. Hard to see him lower than 200cm.
