American actor best known for playing Quentin on 1960's TV series Dark Shadows and Richard Channing on 1980's soap Falcon Crest. In a 1969 short bio he mentioned "I am six feet and two inches tall and I weigh 180 pounds".

Rob, maybe 6ft2½ range is nearer for this guy?
On Falcon Crest he's visibly taller than Lorenzo by more than an inch

Would need to see some footage again.

Selby was surely over 6'3'' peak. One maybe two inches on Richard Jordan, and the top of 5'6'' Anne Archer's head was way down at his shoulder level in Raise the Titanic during a scene where they are full length walking together in a newsroom and corridor. I think he downplayed his height because his predatory looking facial features were already a strike against him for nuanced roles.

Taller than Lorenzo Lamas (still 186-187cm, IMO)

When Selby made the quoted 6' 2" comment he was in his twenties and possibly thought admitting that he was 6' 3" (or even taller) may not have been advantageous in securing future roles. Similar to what Rock Hudson did to downplay his height in the late 1940's when he was a struggling actor.

Agree with Gonzalo, he was at least 6' 3" in his prime. Sometimes with other tall actors he appeared closer to 6' 3.5".

He was clearly taller than Lorenzo Lamas in Falcon Crest, about two inches. I don´t see Selby under 1`91
