Editor Rob: I did notice with his hairstyle, his head generally looked quite big. But you can see what I mean with Sharpe, at times I was struggling to imagine he was near 4 inches taller than Sean...

Yeah good call on this. 6ft2 flat puts Grant at 6ft1 tops in that clip (high unlikely as there's plenty of other evidence to support him being a proper 6ft2 guy)

Also appears briefly in The Long Good Friday with a completely unknown Pierce Brosnan (19:00-20:00)

I suppose it's not impossible. In the past I've thought 6ft3 (like w/h Brosnan in The Long Good Friday) but next to Sean Bean in Sharpe I struggle to see it. A strong 6ft2 though could still be argued for his peak

This guy is no more than a few inches taller than Sean Bean, this listing is very inaccurate. He's about the 6ft mark

From what I could make out, this guy was a good 1in taller than Brosnan. So if Pierce was 6ft1½ then Daragh was 6ft2½-3

He played an Irish thug in The Long Good Friday alongside a completely unknown Pierce Brosnan. Might need to look at that scene again at the swimming pool

As much as I like Daragh (especially in Sharpe) he is not 6ft 3in but 6ft 2in or 1 and a half,in the great film "Withnail and I" he stands next to Richard E. Grant and looks roughley the same height......BUT has boots on with at least 2 inch heels visible if you watch closely.
In Sharpe he never looks any more than 3 inches taller than Sean Bean who is 5ft 10in,if hes was 6ft 3in he'd make Sean look really small,so in conclusion he's 6ft 2in,.....just.....sorry Daragh!
