People always comment on my size, maybe because Kris is 6ft 3in. I'm 5ft 2in, if I really stretch. Kylie's 5ft and I think Mum's even smaller. We're like The Borrowers.

Kylies mums family are from North Wales. Same county as Kylies grandmother, 15 miles away. Were not usually a tall people. My mum was 5ft 1 and her older brother was 5ft 2. I'm 5ft 6 and my dad was 5ft 4. Dad's side are from a different part of North Wales
However my great grandfather Henry Davies, mum's grandfather was a big tall man and towers above his farming neighbours, in a post WW1 photo.

5'2" is pretty average. I'm 5'3" and very average, and sometimes people even say I'm "tall" when I'm in flats. The average height of an American woman is only 5'3.5"! People have a very inaccurate perception of height because heights are exagerrated so much, are incorrectly measured, or they see celebrities' exagerrated heights too much. Every celeb's "official" height is exagerrated by at least 2", and sometimes 4" or more! If Dannii says she can't find clothes that fit, she's a lot shorter than 5'2". Back in 2003 I had her height pegged at 5"4. She definitely appears taller than 5"2-yet must be as she is positively dwarfed by Cheryl Cole (whom doesn't appear taller than 5"2 or 3). The claims that Kylie is below 5 feet are ludicrous as I ve been to her V&A costume and wardrobe exhibition twice and have noted how her outfits are tailored to someone of below 5 feet yet when worn by Kylie she looks as though she's outgrown them all

She's roughly 4ft 11" cause I've stood next to her for half an hour at a record signing and I was wearing flats and she was wearing heels and I was still taller than her. I am 5ft 1.5" and my claim to fame to my friends is that I am taller than Dannii Minogue, they always gasp cause they cant beleive that I'm taller than anybody.

When I'm trying to work out someone's height I always tend to use another celeb as reference and do it from that. With Dannii Minogue, I am looking at pictures of her with Cheryl Cole, and using Cheryl's height of 5'3" as the reference. But the thing is I just end up confusing myself even more. How can we be sure Cheryl is even 5'3"? She may have said she is 5'3" but how can we take her word for it? We can never really be 100% sure of anyone's height unless we actually see their height being measured, or just see a proper official measurement. Celebs can say they are a particular height but that doesn't mean they actually are. Cheryl may be 5'2.5" or 5'2.75" and round it up to 5'3", or, less likely but of course possible, she may be 5'3.25" or 5'3.5" and round it down to 5'3". So sometimes I wonder if the whole using another celeb as reference thing is useful. If we are not 100% certain of the reference height, which in most cases we won't be, then we can't really get an accurate height of anyone else either. But hey, I know I just said all that but I will probably carry on doing it anyway. Dannii appears to be a strong inch shorter than Cheryl, perhaps even 1.5 inches. So if Cheryl is 5'3" then it makes Dannii 5'2" maximum. I think 5'1.5" or 5'2" is about right for Dannii's height.

I would say she is just over 5ft 1 and round it up to 5ft. Where she is next to Chery Cole on X Factor she looks, in identical heels, more than an inch shorter than 5ft 3 Cheryl. She is two inches taller than Kylie though who is probably 4ft 11.5 and rounds up to 5ft.

12 inches to shoulder and another two inches roughly? I'd say Kris Smith is 14 inches taller than her. He is a legitimiate 6 ft 3 so I would estimate her to be 5 ft 1.

Editor Rob she could be nearer 5ft 1, in some pictures of them she appears in heels around the bottom of his chin which would add up with more 5ft 1 than 2...

Yes, when I meet a guy who is 5"8" I think, "omg, he is so short!" but, I am 6'5" so 5'8" IS short to me. 5'2" is short but Kylie does not even look to be that tall. I saw her performing with Justin Timberlake who is billed anywhere between 5'10" and 6'1" and he towered over her and she was in at least 3-1/2" to 4" heels! My bet is Kylie is 5'0" tall or shorter.

Height effects how weight looks on film or cameras. The taller a person is (5'7 and above) everyone would agree that a person gaining a couple of pounds is nothing. If a short person does, film and cameras do not do them justice even though they look pretty good in person.
