In 5'1" Connie's peak, she had a beautiful singing voice. Off and on,I've seen Connie's cute 1960 comedy Where The Boys Are,although in the opening scene,if you look very closely,Connie and the other three girls in the movie are carrying bottles of cough syrup with them. (I couldn't tell just what the cough syrup the girls are carrying is,but it looked to me like it was Vicks formula 44,because before the girls left on their spring break Florida vacation, they all battled nasty chest colds and had nasty coughs from their chest colds. One girl had a scratchy cough, another battled a bronchial cough,a third suffered a cough spasm (typical of my friends Annette and Joanie when they catch a cold),and Connie's character Angie couldn't quiet her hacking cough from her cold.)I'd like to nail this movie, but one of the girls was attacked in the end. Connie can't sing like she used to because she was attacked about the time in 1974 Earl Anthony bagged the PBA Hawaiian Invitational, which ABC televised because Anthony had to win that PBA event to become the first pro bowler to win $100,000 in a PBA season. (He did.) I only moderately like Connie, but I do have a favorite moment with this Dec.12 baby (Her birthday,Edward G. Robinson,Bob Barker,Frank Sinatra, and Cathy Rigby match):her guessing in 1961 as What's My Line? mystery guest by Dennis James, squeezing in a panel appearance. (The game show host icon, later Price Is Right host, nailed Connie on clue #6.)

Saw a funny "What's My Line?" "mystery guest" appearance she made in 1962 when Wesley Lau guessed her,but he dropped the ball a few weeks later when he called panelist Jean Byron "the star of the hit new comedy series "The Patty Duke Show'",but it hadn't premiered yet!
