Actually, Chris looks quite a bit taller than a flat 5ft8, and the average vote reflects this. Personally, I think he could pass for 5ft8.5 or even more. Black isn’t only a slimming colour, it would seem it flatters one’s height as well.

It’s Tommy’s Grandfather’s 65th Birthday in Classic Coronation Street. Tommy’s father, Terry, played by Nigel Pivaro, has sent him a card which reads. “Happy 65th Birthday. Wish you were here!”
He wrote it from prison, the stinker! 😂😂😂

Only Tommy’s grandparents could end up having a ruck after Vera, much to her relief, realises that husband Jack hasn’t been blown up when the shed explodes! 😂👌🏼
Vera, played by Elizabeth Dawn, always looked at least 5ft7 to me.
Chris gets 5ft8.25. He has a good physique, and could pass for more.

The Street is in shock over the death of Judy Mallett. Terry Dodgeworth sold his mother a faulty car, resulting in a minor crash while she (Vera) was driving the thing, with Judy in the passenger seat. Judy was injured, thereafter dying suddenly - I think from an aneurysm. 😪

In actual fact, Chris looks taller than a standard 5ft8. That's what a bit of forethought can do when it comes to dressing. I think he's achieved the look of a guy of nearly 5ft10.

Tommy's grandfather called his grandmother 'his little blowfly' this afternoon, when she thanked him for his bouquet of flowers to celebrate their anniversary! 💐
But blowflies are DISGUSTING, and have to be my least favourite insects... 🤮

Chris Fountain is more than a flat 5'8, i would have him at 5'8.75, he was always a fraction taller than 5'8.5 Ryan Thomas, on Coronation street, Rob Chris needs an upgrade 5'8 flat is way too low for Chris.

Yes I could buy 5’8.25 as another good guess for him, in fact I think both him and Ryan might measure around that mark. If Rob ever got a photo with one or both of them , I believe they would struggle to look taller..

@ CD - Hi! I've just come from Ryan Thomas's page and found out that we have you to thank for Chris Fountain's sudden appearance; well researched indeed! I find that if a Celeb is slim and there is a full length picture on his or her page, that person can often appear taller.
I'm going with 5ft8.25.
I would at first glance have given him half-an-inch more.

I’d have guessed 5’8.5 but I guess he is an honest 5’8. You could argue that Michelle Keegan is under 5’4 too based on how they looked in Corrie.

I knew he wasn't 5ft 10 but if he is 5ft 8 then ali Bastian is shorter than 5ft 8 as she is no taller or pretty much the same height as him in heels
