I remember when Cheryl Ladd started in 'Charlie's Angels', and at 5ft4, she was the shortest of the four actresses who'd been in the series so far. Jaclyn Smith wouldn't step down from 5ft8, but I see here that she's 2" smaller - and I believe it. Cheryl turns 69 today - Happy Birthday Cheryl!

When she was in 'Charlie's Angels', Cheryl was always written up as 5ft4, which was quite a comedown for an 'angel' considering Kate was 5ft9, Jaclyn 5ft8 and Farrah 5ft6. Yes, there was plenty of attention drawn to her relatively petite height and that is how I got to learn all their heights - from my teenage magazines!
I enjoyed her film 'Poison Ivy', and thoroughly recommend it as an example of her more 'kick-ass' films, though it's Drew Barrymore who steals the film!

I don't think Cheryl was ever more than 5'2" peak. Her daughter, Jordan, is lucky to be 5'0" on the nose. On Charlie's Angels, the other girls towered over cheryl and the tallest ones were only in the 5'7" range.

Try more like 5'2", even when she was younger. On Charlie's Angels, the other gals towered over her.

My wife and I stood very near Cheryl Ladd back in the mid-90's (she was visiting New Zealand while starring in that Hawaii based pathology show). My wife is around 5'1" 1/2 and Cheryl Ladd appeared to be very much the same height. She was very petite (around 103lb/47kg) which is again is pretty much identical to my wife, making for an easy comparison

Sweet! 5'3" Cheryl Ladd is just that! You were 5'3" when you starred on "Charlie's Angels," even if the directors tacked on more inches on you. Maybe the directors didn't like petite actresses telling the truth about their height,but 5'3",104 pounds,in Goldilocks lingo,is "just right" for Cheryl.

Man I was in love with her then and still..I personally Love short petite women..Just my size..My mother was only 5ft or less.Who cares what hieght anyone is..Or at least people shouldnt think like that.They could have made fun of how tall Kate Jackson was or Jackie,Big deal..They were all Gorgeous women.

I met her backstage before a "Tonight Show" appearance, back in the 80s. She was tiny. She came skipping by me backstage, her hair in curlers, with her robe and bare feet. I guessed 5'3" at the time. It's difficult to estimate height when someone is a lot shorter or a lot taller than you.

Why would the joke be on the petite one and not on the tall one? I am 5'2" and a bit myself and I am gorgeous. Petite wowmen are gorgeous and very sexy. And on another note, 5'2" is not that short. It is a very normal height. Cheryl Ladd is just beautiful, no matter what her height is.

Lol, if she was the butt of height jokes then theres no way she could have been 5'4 (average for American woman). I've always been under the impression that she was very small ans looked it in the Charlie's Angels episodes (5'0-2), and its a bit odd how her daughter is only 5'.

I read they rarely had a master shot of all 3 Angels together because she was 5' 3" and the others much taller; when they did, it was a sofa shot.

In a few Charlies Angels episodes her height was the butt of jokes. I remember one in particular,where she stood face to chest looking up at a very tall actress,who made light of the height difference.Compared to Jaclyn Smith,she looks about 5'2''.

I was always under the impression that she was only around 5'0". I really don't know where I got that figure from, but that pic next to Robert Wagner, to me, at least, says she can't be anywhere near 5'4".
