@181guy: this is the same guy (Danimal) that says Hogsn has lost 4” in height. I still have hogan around 6’3 today. And Barkley has claimed 6’4” flat so how is that downgrading him? And he measured 6’4 5/8” which is how he looks (6’4 1/2” range). He looks 6’6” in a thick shoe with an orthotic perhaps which is normal Olympic measurement is above
Also why would Dan majerle call him 6’4”? Twice now and Moses Malone did and other teammates have

181cmguy said on 30/Aug/23
6'4 and 3/4 is fine for Barkley, he did look really tall in that infamous photo with the rock, my only guess could be that the rock had either been awake longer or worked himself more that day, as I don't see him under 6'2 or even 6'2flat, not yet at least.
Given that we can only guess in 1/8ths, I'll go with 5/8 rather than 7/8 for Barkley. Taller than Michael Jordan and Lennox Lewis imo.

Rob has Barkley overlisted here. Since he’s gonna use claims or Olympic measurements he should be consistent and use 6’4 1/2, 6’4 5/8 or 6’4.75”. He’s never been measured as high as 6’4 7/8”. That’s a typo.

Charles with 6’7” Nirvana band member
For the most part, Charles can always look 6’5 because of his terrible posture, but when he was thin in the early 90s, he was all of 6’6”. He has always battled weight issues. His head has that strange peak to it.
I am well aware what he and others have stated about his height. His accomplishments seem more impressive if he is shorter. Rebounding especially.

I think a peak and current should be given. If Rob thinks 6’4.5 is too low although he claimed it and looked it, give him 6’4 5/8 since he did measure that or 6’4.75 since he claimed it 6’4.75 may be his lunchtime if 6’4 5/8 was his low. However a lot of players said he was 6’4 or 6’4/6’5”. Someone that size is more likely in the middle of the range versus the top of it. Today Barkley is max 6’4.25 if not lower. barkley is one of those guys that i think nobody would guess shorter than 6´5 if they meet him. The measurement that he is listed at must come from somewhere but it like mochael jordan, it seems like the shortest possible height he could be. If i would go by how he looks beside other people then i would actually think he was almost 197. Beside larry devit ( i think thats his name, the armwrestler) he did look easily taller and larry is listed at 194 and could be 195 in reality. Also beside the guy that played the bad guy in creed ( 192) he was mutch taller. He made hugh jackman look short. I think i give him 196 even if he got measured at this because i just cant see him shorter than that. His 6´4 claims in recent years is just insane.

He failed to make the varsity team and was named as a reserve. However, during the summer Barkley grew to 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) and earned a starting position on the varsity as a senior.''

But My guess is if that were the case that he would be 6’4 3/8 at his low and would wake up 6’5 3/8”. My guess is 6’4.5 May have been his normal low and maybe he lost 3/4 or 7/8”

@184guy: he was def a bit over 6’4 peak. He was no less than maybe 194 cm at his low at worst. And I only go that low because he could’ve been a guy that lost a full inch in a day or near it being he was over 270 lbs at different points in his career. But Rob has him listed too high. That was never an official measurement on paper. The 6’4 5/8 was. He has claimed 6’4 6’4 1/2 6’4 3/4”. I think 6’4 5/8 should be what he’s listed. With Ainge, Barkley is closer to the camera. Ainge is on record saying Barkley and he are the same height and then another time that Barkley is at most half inch taller and that he’s 6’4 Barkley 6’4 1/2. He was no taller than he was measured at the 92 Olympics (6’4 5/8) and that may not have even been his afternoon height. Bill Belichick has met him as he was in the Patriots locker room before next to Brady and Willie McGinest. Belichick called him 6’4”. I think peak height 6’4 5/8 since he measured it and current maybe 6’4 1/4”. These would be around lunchtime imho. Afternoon 6’4 1/2” and 6’4 1/8”. He’s probably lost about a centimeter at most
Canson said on 22/Apr/22
It’s funny that I’ve been saying Barkley was around 6’4 1/2” peak since October 2015 when I began posting. 6’4 5/8 isn’t really any different from 6’4.5”. That’s the max he was at a low. At least if Rob listed him 6’4.75, it could be near his lunchtime height but to be fair, being he used Kobe’s measurement outside of the NBA and Jordan’s Olympic measurement, he should also use Barkley’s 6’4 5/8 since it was a legit measurement. And it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s not even his afternoon height at his peak. He could easily have been a guy that, at 260-275 at points in his career, lost a full inch or 7/8”. He could’ve been 6’5 3/8 upon waking and 6’4 3/8 at his normal low. There’s a reason why people guessed him 6’4 range all the time and many said just 6’4 not 6’4 1/2”.
Canson said on 22/Apr/22
@ viper: he was never a flat 6’5” let alone over it. People I know who’ve actually stood next to him said he was 6’4/6’5 range peak. These are people who can tell the difference being 6’2 and 6’3”. He would measure 6’4 7/8 but not at the same time of day you or I measure 6’3 or 6’4.25”. And he has an official measurement of 6’4 5/8”. I don’t get why that’s ignored and I don’t get the excuses made with the 6’4 5/8 measurement. It’s “not valid”. But if someone wanted someone to be taller, they would use the higher measurement. So let’s flip this. What if Barkley had a combine measurement of 6’4 5/8 but the Olympic measurement if 6’5 1/2? They’d say “oh well he must have grown”. All of this nonsense about it not being “official” would go right out the window. When there is a will there is a way. I remember a celeb on this page (years ago back in 2015) said they would make Barkley 197 cm “then we won’t have to downgrade anyone”. I guess downgrading is seen as disrespectful or it’s too much like work 🤦♂️
viper said on 21/Apr/22

Canson said on 21/Apr/22
@Editor Rob: yea that’s it. A fraction. He doesn’t look much different on Inside the NBA than he did years ago next to those guys. He was never 6’4 7/8 to begin with. He measured 6’4 5/8”
Canson said on 21/Apr/22
@Editor Rob: no what I said was that he hasn’t lost an inch. I think a peak Barkley was 6’4 5/8 max as he measured and is a bit shorter today. That was the point I was making. And if he is 6’4 flat today which is possible, Cam wouldn’t have an inch on him. Cam only measured 6’5 at the combine. I could see Cam at an afternoon low at 6’4.75”. But maybe he gained some height. I’ve always had Cam at 6’4.75”. And I can definitely see at least 2 cm there but I doubt Barkley has gone from 6’4 7/8 to 6’4”. More like 6’4 5/8 to 6’4”. To be consistent since you tend to use lunchtime heights, maybe he should be listed 6’4.75 at his peak height but since you also use barefoot measurements or official measurements, he should be listed 6’4 5/8” since that’s, in fact, what he measured in 1992. That does look like a full inch in the video but we can’t see footwear

@Ice Cold: I believe the measurement in his prime. Says he measured at the Olympics in 1992. They have Jordan at 6’4.75 at the time in 1992 at the Olympics which I believe but was it an afternoon measurement is the question? Not sure if it was afternoon for Barkley though but it could’ve been. He looked around 6’4.5 peak imho (6’4 3/8-5/8) but today could just be 6’4”. He could pull off looking 6’5 at times though so I’d lean more toward 6’4.5 plus. Barkley has usually claimed that 6’4.75” was his measurement but 6’4.5 as well. I don’t believe the 6’4 7/8 measurement though because the NBA doesn’t measure to the 1/8”. They go to the 1/4,1/2, full. Had they said 6’4.75 I’d believe it though
IceCold said on 1/Apr/22
I've seen almost all the comments section on this page. Barkley's height is been fluctuating. But just looking at Barkley in basketball form and he is looking pretty average height. Like 6'4. In resent photos with Carmelo Anthony Barkley looks 6'4
Claims of 6'4 5/8 are more like rumors than actual measurements. I mean, there's no article detailing this
Canson said on 31/Mar/22
@Ice Cold: to be fair, he was heavy in his prime too so he could’ve been a guy that either lost the full inch throughout the day or 7/8” as opposed to other 6’4-6’5 range guys like me who only lose 3/4”. I wake to 6’5 or a tiny hair over and am 6’4.25 at my afternoon whereas he may have been 6’5 1/2 out of bed and 6’4 1/2” or even 1/8” lower. My guess 6’5 1/4-1/2 out of bed and 6’4 1/2 at his low in his prime or even 6’4 5/8” like measured which may mean just 3/4”
Canson said on 31/Mar/22
@Ice Cold: says it at the top of the page and he’s claimed 6’4 1/2 and 3/4 before along with his teammates Moses Malone, Danny Ainge, Dan Majerle and others saying he’s 6’4 or 6’4.5”. The pics with Gabby Reece have Barkley at a significant camera advantage. Rob himself commented on the Olympic Team’s HOF induction and said Barkley looks 6’4.5-6’5 range with Karl Malone. My guess is 6’4 1/2 or 6’4 5/8 is the adequate measurement.
It was in the run-up to the 1992 Olympics that the world finally learned what the cognoscenti had long suspected -- that Charles Barkley was more like 6-4 5/8 than 6-6, and Magic Johnson closer to 6-7 than 6-9.

Only looking max 3” taller than Samuel L in the commercials for this season’s NCAA tourney
Canson said on 13/Mar/22
@Christian and Editor Rob: I’d at most go with 6’4.75 peak height like Rob originally listed him since he has the 6’4 5/8 measurement. 6’4.75 could be his height around lunchtime and 6’4 5/8 his afternoon/evening. Remember he could’ve lost a bit more due to his heavy weight when he played so maybe that explains why he looked closer to 6’4 if he dipped to 6’4 3/8 which I don’t rule out. Rob said himself that it looked 3-3.5” between he and Malone at the 92 Dream Team induction. I don’t believe the 6’4 7/8 measurement is actually valid although he easily would measure it in his prime earlier in the day. 6’4.5-6’5 range suggests more 6’4.5-6’5” as Rob said with Joe Mangianello. But to be fair, Rob used Kobe’s measurement and Jordan’s Olympic measurement so not seeing why he didn’t use Barkley’s 6’4 5/8” for his listing. And I don’t think the commercial was as surprising as it seems because Barkley looked a lot shorter than Clark Kellogg who was 6’7” range peak height. Many pics and videos with Barkley had bad angles so they made him look taller. He looked taller than Majerle in one where they stood right next to each other when in reality Majerle was taller than Barkley as he admitted on Dan Patrick’s show. I have Majerle as 6’5 1/2” tops in his prime

@Christian: yea I used to think closer to 6’7 but then I see more and he looks like he could he at least 6’7.25 in many cases. I think Barkley looks around 6’4 or best case my height today esp next to Samuel L Jackson
ChristianPerkins said on 12/Mar/22
@Canson
Which is a bit surprising. I've thought Magic as being closer to 6'7" than 6'7.5", even at his peak. The commercial speaks volumes about Barkley's current height.
Canson said on 12/Mar/22
@Editor Rob: Remember you also said that Barkley looked 3-3.5 inches shorter than Karl Malone in the Olympic video? He’s over listed here. The 6’4.75 you had him before May be a lunchtime measurement that easily lines up with 6’4 5/8 that he measured at the Olympics. The latter could be his afternoon/evening which is why he got all the way down to 6’4 1/2” or lower at times being a heavier guy or at least pulled off looking that if it’s 1/8” away. 6’4 7/8 is likely not even valid being there is no credible source. 6’4 5/8 is and he had claimed 6’4.5 snd .75 many times now. The 6’4 7/8 appears to be made up or mistaken. Also looking 6’4.5-6’5 next to Karl Malone would mean 6’4 5/8 or .75 more so than 6’4 7/8”.
Canson said on 12/Mar/22
@Editor Rob: it was about that in their primes but I believe it’s possible Barkley has lost some. Meaning 1cm tops perhaps. He was never as tall as you list him here though since he only measured 6’4 5/8”. Magic could also have lost height being he’s 4 years older.
Canson said on 12/Mar/22
@Editor Rob: if you see the latest commercial with Magic Johnson that was released this week, Magic is at least 3” taller than him.
@MrIsaac: he measured 6’4 5/8 in his prime so how is he at least 6’5?

Hi Rob,
I think sir Charles may need a peak and a current.
Peak: 6’5 1/4”
Current: 6’4 3/4”
He carried 250+ pounds for many years so it’s possible he may have lost an inch at age 58.
Canson said on 18/Feb/22
I saw a shot of Kenny standing side by side and he’s only around 3” taller now. Peak height could be argued at 6’4 5/8 since he measured that at the Olympics whether afternoon or lunch it’s close enough to. Today he looks maybe 6’4.25” or so

Barkley has a 6’4 5/8 on record but not seeing 7/8”. Jordan had a 6’4.5, 6’4.75, a 6’4 7/8 on record however while Barkley had 6’4 5/8”. Barkley has claimed everything. @Canson Facts. I’m 6 ft 5/8 at a low and extreme low I’ve measured right on 6’0.5”. If I have a long day on my feet then hit the gym and have leg day, I will measure 6’0.5” but haven’t measured under that. I agree that Barkley is same case just 4 inches taller haha. 6’5.25” out of bed and 6’4.5 to 6’4 5/8 at a low with a good weight.
Canson said on 11/Feb/22
@Jawilder: yea Barkley also had points where he was closer to 300 lbs which may have influenced how much height he lost throughout the day. He may have come all the way down to 6’4 1/4 or 6’4 3/8” whereas if he weighed 20-40 lbs less he may have retained 6’4 5/8” at his normal low or 6’4.5”. I have a feeling he would be 6’5.25 out of bed peak and 6’4.5” afternoon or 1/8” taller under normal conditions. But 6’4 5/8 and 6’4 1/2” are basically the same. If someone’s normal low is 5/8” they can easily see 1/2” at an extreme low. If that were me I’d claim 6’4 1/2” still even if I’m 6’4 5/8” at s normal low especially when I hit the gym since I could come down that extra 1/8” those days if I do that and stand just sn hour or so. I have days now where I go to the gym later in the day and go out at night and stand just a shorter period of time and I’m 6’4 1/8 vs 6’4 1/4”.
Jawilder said on 9/Feb/22

Canson said on 7/Feb/22
@Editor Rob: after watching it again, that’s closer to 4” with Malone. Maybe it’s the angle but he’s certainly not 6’4 7/8”. The 6’4 5/8 is believable maybe at lunch and maybe he’s 6’4.5. Watch in the very beginning and he’s up around Malone’s eyebrows
Canson said on 31/Jan/22
@Editor Rob: I’m thinking 6’4 1/2 next to Malone and Pippen. Not 6’5”. 6’4 5/8 at the Olympics makes sense. Maybe that’s what he was after all. His 6’4.5 claim is probably his afternoon height
Canson said on 31/Jan/22
@Editor Rob: that’s where I would have him precisely 6’4.5 or 6’4 5/8”. But you had him listed at 6’4.75 before which adds up to a lunchtime listing if he measured 6’4 5/8 a different time and they could be his afternoon. Also possible he could’ve dipped to 6’4.5” at his low in the afternoon. I think 6’4.75 is more adequate being he at least claimed it several times and being he has the 6’4 5/8” measurement on record
Canson said on 30/Jan/22
@Editor Rob: here is the video of the 92 Dream Team’s induction into the HOF. You will see Barkley standing in front of Karl Malone at one stage in the beginning of the video. This is for a good few seconds. This was in 2010. Barkley is over 3” shorter. His Dream Team measurement of 6’4 5/8” lines up in front of him. Honestly I would buy 6’4 1/2” next to Malone or Magic. I’m not seeing a 6’4 7/8 measurement being on record. He’s never even mentioned it. He’s actually claimed 6’5 1/2”, 6’5, 6’4.75, 6’4 1/2, and 6’4 and had the 6’4 5/8 on record. Then he claimed 6’4.75” a handful of times such as in the article below and the video with Chick Hearn along with the video someone posted previously about Conan then 6’4 1/2” in the all star slam dunk video

Danny Ainge who was a GM and had to scout players at a point was also a former teammate of Barkley’s. Ainge says himself around :50 seconds that Jason Richardson wasn’t 6’6 but that he was only about 6’4” and that he was Charles’s size. Barkley commented that he was 6’4 1/2”

Ian Momo 'Questionable 5'10' said on 31/Dec/21
@Canson
well that's totally possible, it's a tiny fraction that we're talking here, and he claims to be 6'4 3/4 or weak 6'5, but that could also the margin of all the measurements he did, so give or take from that statement, i think 5/8 or 7/8 is possible from all the photos of Charles with other celebs, those who believe he's closer to 6'4.5 than 6'5 has their strong argument, and vice versa. so if i could gave a personal though on this, i would say he;s closer to 6'5 than 6'4 in general, the mark would be equal or a bit higher than 6'4 3/4 (i'm leaning toward the 6'4 7/8 measurements), it's all about ranges, tho i think he can look 1/2 inch shorter because of the slouch, i don't think he's a 6'5'er either
Yeah, Conan now falls down from weak 6'4 at his peak into 6'3.5 range now, but still, he's leaning his head yet look 1 inch shorter max than Charles (the hair make pointing the top of his head more difficult, but let's assume it's 1 inch difference), so imo Conan maybe could measured a bit above 6'3.5, maybe even still a weak 6'4, idk, this guy's height is kinda strange

He could measure it earlier in the day but I believe it’s a typo because he claimed 6’4.75 and measured 6’4 5/8. Typo meaning it’s not a measurement on record. He did factually measure 6’4 5:8 at the Olympics. But he claims 6’4 3/4 here and Hearn knew he was under 6’5. I think he lost more height due to his weight. Maybe he loses close to a full inch during the day and was a guy who woke to 6’5 3/8 and dipped to 6’4.5. Moses Malone and Dan majerle and Danny ainge and Joe Klein called him 6’4 and 6’4 1/2. As for Conan I never had him at 6’4. Maybe a peak 6’3.5-.75 but 6’3.5 range looks best

@Canson looking back, those Knicks teams were one of many teams in that Era that had tons of height inflation . Most did. Perhaps over an inch more.

Looks very close in height with Barkley. I’d give 6’4 5/8” tops. Could be 6’4.5”

@Editor Rob: if it comes out on YouTube this weekend, view the Inside Story: Kenny Smith: The Role Player. It was on Inside the NBA on TNT tonight. There are good shots of Barkley in the video and it’s obvious when he got on the scale that he was a lot smaller outside of some of the shoes he wears. Then he had a couple good shots with Ernie and Magic Johnson and it did look like a pretty decent (3” difference) with Magic in the last two of them. In the first it wasn’t great but physically Magic was still much taller. This was Barkley years ago as Magic was on TNT back In the early to mid 2000s. He wouldn’t have been out of his peak height by much when Magic was on the show. I vaguely remember Magic there around 2004. That pretty much seals it that he was around 6’4.5” or at best his Olympic height of 6’4 5/8”. His footwear choices may have been why he’s looked taller.
Editor Rob
if I somebody remembers or sees the link, remind me please.

@Xingran: I would like to see them measure him barefoot. I wonder if it’s his choice of footwear. He can tower Kenny at times but other times not so much.
Xingran Peter Sun said on 5/Feb/21
On almost all the TNT shows he appears to be a tall figure standing next to 7'-7'1 Shaq. Definitely 6'4 guy, 6'5 sounds more possible, probably even closer to 6'6.

You were right on the first figure. In retirement Barkley is definitely around 330lbs (150 kg). In his prime he was 250lbs (113 kg) with probably 15-16% body fat. He is 30% body fat today, I'd say. If he has the exact same lean mass as he did when was a player (which he doesn't, of course), and we assume the above figures are and correct, and we further assume that he is now 32% body fat (might be low), then he weighs 311 lbs (141 kg) now. I think that might be low. Even if you don't work out, when you gain weight, around 25% of the weight will be lean mass (muscle mass etc.) With a guy like Barkley it might be a bit higher rate, since he's probably got above-average muscle-building genetics. So 330lbs might be quite reasonable for present day Charles Barkley; I know he's been considerably heavier than that.

@Canson, 6’4 5/8 and 6’4.75” could potentially be what Barkley measures I’m open to change to whatever his true height is I guess... 👍

Hey,
Sorry, my mistake, I meant that Barkley is close to 120Kgs not the 150Kgs.
Hard to really judge who's the tallest (imo, Larratt), however, the main issue is how deceptive different views of the same object, can be.

Hi Pdoggy... maybe, but look carefully from 02:30 to 02:34, I think the same thing happened with the Rock.
Have in mind that Barkley is like a 150Kgs dude and close to the 2 meters.

Cool video. I did not see a really good point where we could gauge who was taller. However it appeared Larratt was looking up a little at Charles. The camera angles were not great for height gauging, but in the video Charles looks taller.
Alex V. (5'10") said on 3/Jan/21

Look at 02:30
Larratt IS taller than Barkley but this guy is a huuuge fellow and when the angles are not in the "right" position, it's like he is much taller than anyone with similar height, same goes with "The Rock", whom IMO, can't be lesser than 6'4".

Webber, I think, is a legit 6'9 (or at least within a fraction of it), if you see him next to Shaq, Garnett, and Duncan. Chuck is, by the way, also standing with poor posture in that photo. If anything, that photo tells me Barkley is not below 6'5.
That photo with Magic is also highly unrepresentative of their actual height difference. I don't know why you would post that - it's a terrible picture for judging height (Magic is standing a lot closer to the camera and stretching himself, whereas Barkley is standing with quite relaxed posture and seemingly standing on mostly one leg).
This picture is better, I think: Click Here
Now, Barkley is a bit closer to the camera, but Magic again has a bit better posture. Barkley does not look below 6'5 here. Barkley generally stands quite well with Magic. If Magic truly is 6'7½, there is no way that Barkley is in the 6'4½ range. He has to be about 6'5.
Even though the difference between them is very small, I also think it makes sense that Barkley was/is taller than Jordan; he does appear ever so slightly taller than Jordan, if you peruse through enough photos of them with different people.
Maybe Barkley is 6'4⅞ at night; there is really no way to tell. In general he comes across as a 6'5 guy - sometimes a little shorter but certainly also taller occasionally.
Only problem is that Mo Cheeks called Webber 6’8/6’9” when he was with the Sixers and Webber at a solid 6’9” isn’t possible with Jalen Rose or Peja Stojakovic. He doesn’t have 3” on Rose. Barkley measured 6’4 5/8 in 1992 which he looked more often than not on the court. A lot of players including Mo Cheeks when he played with him in Philly also said he’s 6’4/6’5”. And if you see Webber with 6’9.75 Rasheed Wallace (assuming that’s his afternoon height) he has Webber by at least an inch. Then there was an interview with Kevin Garnett at All Star weekend once where he was a good 2-3” shorter than Garnett

@Editor Rob: more than just a few times. That’s the only height I’ve ever heard him claim. He did it again once when he called
Michael Jordan 6’6 and that he was a lot bigger than him and that he was only 6’2”. Then on NBA inside stuff back in 1997 I believe, he said he’s listed 6’5 but is really only 6’2”. The latter is the first time I ever heard him claim 6’2” and it was on the show with Ahmad Rashad. I wouldn’t be surprised if he were a tad bit under the mark with joe he stood with Larry Johnson. Larry Johnson I doubt is the full 6’5.5 like Ralf Moeller was in his prime but I could buy a weak half. This is more so when you take into account Anthony Mason was described as 6’5 in one of the links. I doubt Mason was only 6’5” but I could see a 197cm range guy next to a guy who’s (maybe 6’5) like JR Smith

Most of Rob's estimates I agree with this one I don't. I am fully aware Charles himself says he is in the 6'4" to 6'5" range. Conan often tilts his head. He does with Draymond and Charles.
It seems you take this very seriously. I don't. It is just a comment page on someone's height, not the most important thing in the world.
Taking seriously? All I did was respond to your post. As far as tilting his head with them, that isn’t going to make the difference as he looks sub 6’4 with Gronkowski as well. As for Barkley, I’m not seeing how he is taller than he measured in 1992

Then you see Penny Reggie Miller and Scottie Pippen. Penny tilting his head has an exaggerated difference with Miller. In reality, they’re around 198 (Penny), 197 (Miller) and maybe 200 (Pippen).

How is conan Strong 6'4" when Liam Neeson was taller than him. What is Neeson? 6'5? Imo i find that very hard to believe. The general consensus for Conan is that he's 6'3 1/2. He's taller than legit 6'3" guys but when he's compared to people who are actually 6'4" like Hasselhoff he comes out shorter.
Also hard to believe Barkley is over 6'5" when all of his recorded measurements were below that mark.
@Fried Chicken: well said! Also where was it “agreed upon”? If I look closely you have people on Rock’s page guessing Rock under 6’2”. While I don’t believe he actually is (I think he’s a solid 6’2 still), it’s obviously tilted in Barkley’s favor or Rock isn’t standing straight being I have a friend who’s met both guys and said Barkley in the 2000s and 90s (I believe) was max 1.5” taller than him and he was 6’3 peak (6’2.75 today). He said Rock looked 6’2 a few years ago when he met him. Not to mention Conan’s page. Nothing is agreed upon. Like I said earlier you can’t take certain things seriously when Barkley was actually measured multiple times barefoot and Conan never was. If anything I don’t believe Conan’s simply because he never looks 6’4” imho. Neeson, Hasselhoff, Kobe, etc. he looked max 192 with them.

Canson said on 24/Nov/20
@Christian: I would definitely make that a low for him over Jordan’s being a low. I’ve always listed Barkley 6’4 5/8 when I compared him. That could be his low in his prime so maybe I’m wrong
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 24/Nov/20

I can believe it was a low for Barkley's moreso than Jordan's.
@J2
Same reason why Rob's average guess is 5'8 3/8" despite him being 5'8 1/8". We live in a society where tallness tend to be more favored.
Canson said on 22/Nov/20
I honestly believe the Olympic measurements 6’4 5/8 for Barkley and 6’4.75 for Jordan were not lows. I feel they’re both prob 6’4.5 guys
Canson said on 22/Nov/20
@Tunman: at the combine they definitely didn’t. I would think 6’4.75 would be his combine and 6’4 5/8 his Olympic measurement as they may measure that way there. If Rob doesn’t want to go with the Olympic, at least go with what he claimed 6’4.75 and it’s the same as Jordan is listed
@Big King: I doubt it’s half inch. If Jordan really is taller it’s not much. It’s very Likely that they’re the same height in their prime
J2Frenzy said on 22/Nov/20
Why is the average guess so high? It’s been made abundantly clear that he’s under 6’5, yet the average guess is strong 6’5

a fair amount of people have guessed him as 6ft 5 or a fraction over, more so than say 6ft 4.5 to 4.75
Big King said on 21/Nov/20
The strange thing is that both Charles Barkley and

Tunman said on 21/Nov/20
As Barkley claimed himself 6'4.75 maybe it's fair to give him that?Since Jordan was listed at 6'4.75,we don't know exactly what's the true mark Barkley was measured at.Is it 6'4 5/8 or is it 6'4 3/4 or 6'4 7/8?The middle mark is a good compromise. In fact I'm not sure they measured people to the 1/8".Too bad that journalist didn't show all the measurements

Unknown...the journalist in his article had looked up Jordan on the Olympic database and seen 6ft 4 3/4 and reported it as such. It's hard to argue with giving Jordan that mark.
Arguably the 3 GOAT's were all within a small fraction, Barkley, Kobe and Jordan.
