Struck me as 5'6" or less in Boston Legal; she could have shrunk an inch by her late 50s, I suppose. A heeled Rhona Mitra was understandably taller than Bergen on the show (I got the impression Bergen wore flat shoes). William Shatner (about 5'8" by start of the show's run) had Bergen by a couple of inches.

💐🎂🎊 Happy Birthday Candice! 🎊🎂💐
Many Happy Returns to Candice Bergen, who celebrates her 74th Birthday today.
Candice is open and honest about her height, admitting to having lost an inch from her peak due to back trouble.
5ft7 💝🎁🌹😁👍

I'm rather surprised to find Candice starring in 'House' - as 5ft6" Lisa Cuddy's Mum.
It's a small World and that applies to the acting one as well!
5ft7.25. 😁

I saw Candice Bergen walking up Broadway near Lincoln Center this afternoon. She still looks like a tall woman, but my position and angle did not allow me to give a good estimate.

Rob can you add a photo and The Sand Pebbles?
McQueen looked less than 3 inches taller considering he had footwear advantage.

Beautiful woman. Spotted her in Gandhi as the Life photographer and I believe she was taller than Kingsley but didn't see her footwear.

In addition, forgot to mention that these two beautiful creatures (Bergen and Evans) appear within us in the 5'7" height range which is perhaps the golden mean for a woman aesthetically speaking...an eye candy indeed!

Candice in the 60's and 70's was to me the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Probably the only one who can challenge her beauty is Linda Evans in the 50's. None of the actresses now have an inch of what these two unique women had. Probably they appear among us every 50 to 100 years.

Very elegant, in fact, Mrs. Bergen. Not only in her youth, but also now (I
