American actor best remembered for playing Moses Hightower in the Police Academy series of films. In his college days he was listed as 6ft 7 and 283lbs.
No, actually my mother's 5'5" and my daddy was 5'11". Now his father was 6'6" and his mother is six feet. The ninth grade. I went from 5'9" to 6'8".

Bubba grew eleven inches in the ninth grade? How many years did he take to finish the ninth grade? (That might be a joke I wouldn't have tried out if Bubba and I had been in the same room.)
But seriously, how common could it be for anyone to grow eleven inches in one year, and then just stop growing taller? Bubba did not look like a pituitary giant, and in fact none of the giants in the NFL do. They look like normal but extremely strong men who are just very, very tall.

RIP Bubba.. Was a legit 6'7" (even heard 6'8" for him at times).. Probably lost 1.25"-1.5" before his death, seeing he was close to 70 years old..

what you people are forgeting is you can be 285-300 pounds and not have much of a belly because you are 6'7. Johnathn Ogden of the ravens is 6'8" 345 pounds mabey a little more or less. Very little belly for his size. Because he is 6'8". So bubba smith very well could have been 285-300 pounds.

Smith's weight is from his pro football days-actually he was listed over 300 at times. He's on a old episode of "The Odd Couple"(very young, I think still playing ball still) and is huge. Jump forward to his 2 appearances as Tony's friend on "Whose the Boss" and he's "slimmed" down to a weight more in keeping with being out of football. 6'7 at least, maybe 6'8.

Editor Rob this was his height and weight when he played College Football. I think this guy still looked this height in Police Academy movies...I mean in the lineup scenes he looked massive, maybe he didn't have as much muscle/bulk as in his youth though?
