I am 5'9" and I had trouble getting cast in typical roles because I was so tall. The roles for young, twentysomething women can be such fragile characters, and I'm not one you can knock over.

So tall?5'8.5"is tall but not so tall,actually still under the average for men,so she would be quite comfortable with most of them.If she was to star with a short actor she could use flats to lower the difference but I reckon she could edge many guys with high heels.
That said,I bet she certainly won much more roles for her beautiful face than she lost because of her height

Yes about 5ft 9, reasonably tall for a woman but not very tall.
She also seems to make the mistake alot of tall people make, that she is somehow strong just because she is tall. If you're that thin then you are not solid. A good example of that would be Serena Williams at 5ft 9.

Someone didn't take biology in high school. Torso length has got absolutely nothing to do with one's gender. The only proven skeletal differences between the two genders are seen in the pelvis.

She is actually pretty tall. She doesn't look it because her body is athletic and a bit manly in proportions(big head and long upper body). Still very hot tho.

And yes, I would've said 5'8" or 5'9". Was actually a bit of a problem on Legend of the Seeker, as she made her love interest, Richard, look kinda puny sometimes. =)
