I found all of 5ft11 for the late Jonathan Harris, my favourite 'Lost In Space' character, who played the cowardly, but funny, Dr Smith. Jonathan passed on 3 days before his 88th Birthday, which would have been 6th November, 2002. He keeps popping up in a preview for an old sleuthing series, probably from the 1960s/70s, so I thought I'd check out his height.
Billy gets 5ft7.75. 😁

To be fair he never looked over 5'7.25 (171cm) in Babylon 5.

I remember him as Billy Mumy, the small boy from 'Lost in Space' from when I was a wee girl. It was my favourite programme and I thought it was terribly scary! I never realised just how little a little boy Billy was until the 'Horror Channel' decided to show them again recently. To me, he was quite a big boy! I must have been around 7 or 8 when I started watching it. When I saw them again, I thought they were merely funny, but one thing definitely hadn't changed: Dr Zachary Smith was still my favourite, followed by Will, of course! Billy, or Bill as he is now, played young Will.
Because he looked so tiny, I wondered second time round whether he was, in fact, playing much younger. I don't think he actually was, unless this photo is extremely out-dated. There's no way the guy above is in his 60's!
I never got into 'Babylon 5', or I'd have known that Bill's acting career continued - and that he didn't wander far from the sci-fi/space travel genre.
I have great pleasure in seeing his little face again and also in giving Bill 5ft7 and three-quarters - oh yes...
