120 pounds, so Amber is 5'2". The legs are give away though women don't have long legs and 5'1.5" is the U.S. average especially in the South.

Some fashion experts have advised against shorter women wearing their hair very long, saying it can look as though it cuts their height still further. Ditto to wearing a skirt in a completely different colour to the topwear.

There's no denying that any woman wearing one base colour can and does look taller, especially if the hosiery and shoes match. I'd say that this is one incident when men and women can't use the 5-inch rule. Still in the 90s, women of 5ft4 could buy petite range clothes, which does seem a bit weird considering that they're equivalent to guys of 5ft9. I thought so then and I think so now. These days, petite is officially 5ft3 and under, but then a woman of 4ft10 isn't going to be able to wear the same jeans and skirts as one of 5ft3.

I conclude with the suggestion that, just as there are extra large and extra extra extra large clothes, perhaps there should be an extra petite range for women 4ft10/11 and under.
