I've always thought that Aidan looks uncannily like the actor who played Conor Flaherty in 'EastEndee' in the late 90s. Well, Conor's just started today and I've found that the guy who plays the Irishman and father to young Mary is, in fact, Sean Gleeson, an English actor who stands 5ft11. So, while their facial resemblance remains, their heights are some 2.5" apart!

Maybe that was the 'feeder' in me spurring me on. Physicality has nothing to do with a thespian's acting ability. Aiden's clearly healthy, or he wouldn't be capable of the rigorous performances his roles require of him, and he never disappoints.

I'm watching 'Wake Wood' again, but I don't think that I can stick with it. It's far too horrific for my tonight's delicate constitution! 😣
In some of the scenes in this, Aiden looks taller than 5ft8.5 but in others, he looks rather delicately built and around 5ft8. I just saw one such scene, and thought that he doesn't look strong enough to manhandle huge big animals, such as the cow you see him operating on at the beginning, when he delivers the mother cow's calf via cesarean section. (He plays the part of a vet).
Another pointer worth mentioning is the role he plays in 'Blitz'. You'd think that the more strongly built Jason Statham, who's the same sort of height, would have been far more capable of doing the evil acts Aiden commits in that film - physically speaking, of course.
Aiden's face is thin, and so is the rest of him. At his height and weight of 140 pounds, he'd have a healthy BMI of 21.2, but I think he looks around the 19 range. Of course, this could induce the appearance of looking taller, but I think he could do with a few good meals, regardless of whether he comes over as more statuesque!

Recently got to game of thrones and obsessed with all the actors was surprised at how tall Sansa was and there is a scene where little finger and Sansa are discussing about leaving on the first episode of season 3 and they are side by side , even from a distance Sansa is taller so the listing with them at same height can't be right ?

Didn't think he'd be downgraded, but 174 is believable. He wouldn't be as tall as Tom Hardy, and would be nearly identical in height to Gary Oldman, if they were to ever meet.
This throws away any chances of Conleth Hill being over 5'9.

Editor Rob remember it's all still a guess. Nothing is ever proven unless measured, aidan can look anywhere in 5ft 8-9 range, 5ft 8.5 might be a best shout, I will keep an eye on him.

5'8.5 is still a stretch but not 100% impossible... 5'9 is ruled out with Lance at only 6'2! I'd say no more than 5'8 next to him! I rarely use the word "tower" but in this case you can safely say Lance towers him, 5'8.25 is the most you can argue, IMO.

If Lance Reddick is only 6'2, you can certainly rule out anything over 5'8.5 for Aidan (and i'm being very very very generous because he looks nothing over 5'8 next to him, to be fair)! 5'9 is possible only in shoes! Rob, downgrade him if you wanna be coherent!
